Entrepreneurial Religion

by @ 2:30 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Here’s a video that mentions some of the old school pulpit pimp scandals of the 1980’s.

Televangelist Scandals

Amazingly enough, instead of folks realizing that they should turn OFF the TV pimps, more people turn them on than ever before. And the entrepreneurial religious industry has only grown. I guess so long as people don’t realize that the Religious Industry is a fraud, it will continue to remain rich off those who think they can buy a blessing, or do God a favor by giving money to teachers of false doctrine.

2 Peter 2:1-3 (New King James Version)

1) But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

2) And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

3) By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

Christians should give to those in need, not those in greed.

Yes, the false prophets have profit in the name of Jesus but I believe that He is just giving them enough rope to hang themselves. Remember Judas?
