The NEA, Doing All it Can to Make Your Children Consider Being Homosexuals

by @ 7:49 pm. Filed under Education, Unions Destroying America

This report comes courtesy of the American Family Association. They are using it as a political move to promote voucher programs. I think they should also encourage parents to flood public school boards across the nation with demands that pro-homosexual efforts NOT be promoted by their school system.

NEA begins massive drive to promote homosexuality in public schools

Is it time for a school voucher program?

Without allowing members to vote on the matter, the executive committee of the National Education Association (NEA) decided to advance aggressively the homosexual agenda. The decision was made at the association?s annual meeting in Philadelphia.

* First, the committee voted to put the weight of the NEA behind an effort to pass federal hate crimes legislation, a measure that would greatly expand federal power and lead to the silencing of moral opposition.
* Second, the executive committee voted to boost the NEA?s Web site to ?include all resources? devoted to homosexual causes.
* The third resolution urged NEA members to push to make sexual orientation training a requirement for earning a license to teach.

They continued their financial support of homosexual groups. Click here for report from OneNewsNow.com. Click here for the report of the NEA Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Caucus.

It matters little to the NEA that Johnny may be unable to read and write, as long as he learns to support same-sex marriage.

Take Action

Given the opportunity, would you favor giving a voucher to students, allowing them to choose the school of their choice? Because the voucher would be given directly to the student, there would be no violation of the church and state issue.

The bottom line is, if your highly paid school system superintendents and the ELECTED school boards heard a response from YOU, like Congress did over their efforts to promote amnesty for illegal aliens, those school systems would REJECT the efforts of the NEA (National Education Association) on their own.

I’m all for vouchers and all for you being able to get as much money for your child to attend a private school as is spent in the public school system for your child. However, right now not enough private schools exists to even accommodate all parents who would WANT to send their kids to another school if not for the current financial burden. So getting a good system of educational competition going will take time, even if you were given money for 100% of private school expenses right now. You’ve got to keep the public schools in check as best you can, for the sake of others and society in general, even if you can get your own kids out.

Just like other political offices, everywhere I’ve lived school board members are ELECTED to their position by VOTERS. Now instead of always looking to see what the Federal government will do about something, it’s time to look at the boxes near the end of your ballot and let school board members know you’re watching them. They pick the superintendents, that set the tone for entire school systems.

You’ve let state and federal government know you endorse one man and one woman. Now it’s time to let your local public education leaders hear it.

Mark 10:6-9 (New King James Version)

6) But from the beginning of the creation, God ?made them male and female.?

7) ?For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,

8) and the two shall become one flesh?; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.

9) Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.?

Tell them to keep heathen values out of your school system.

Gerald Griffith Gets 15 Years for Child Sex Abuse, Should Have To Serve 50 Years!

by @ 10:38 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Well there might still be people falling for his lies, because he was nothing but a rotten pulpit pimp. At least now he won’t be able to abuse children.

Pastor Gets 15 Years for Child Sex Abuse

The popular leader of a local congregation will spend time in prison for sexually abusing a teen-age boy.

Earlier this year a jury in Howard County convicted Pastor Gerald Griffith of two counts of sexual child abuse, and Thursday Circuit Court Judge Diane Leasure sentenced Griffith to 15 years in prison.

Prosecutors say the abuse began shortly after a young male parishioner came to the pastor, looking for a father figure. Instead, they say Pastor Griffith took the teen to hotels in Howard County, where he sexually fondled the teen on more than one occasion.

Griffith was actually sentenced to 50 years in prison, but all but 15 years were suspended. He’ll also face five years of supervised probation after his release, and he will have to register as a sex offender.

I’m only disappointed he won’t have to serve the full 50 years. But there is still a chance this rotten stinking gutter rat will remain behind bars where he belongs.

Griffith faces still more charges in Baltimore County. His trial there is scheduled to begin next month, on five charges of child sex abuse involving both males and females.

1 Timothy 5:19-21 (New King James Version)

19) Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses.

20) Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.

21) I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality.

This case is solid proof that some people put a man before God. Because scripture as shown above notes 2-3 witnesses, while Griffith has more kids than that saying he abused them. He’s got at least 2 + 3 (5) who have accused him. He has been found guilty on a count and sentenced to 15 years in prison, with more trials coming. There is no question that all Christians should be openly rebuking him, but even now I’m sure there are still some who will try and cover for the rat.

And take note of the pimp linkage. Griffith is good buddies with Pimp Daddy Don Meares (see page 3 of the document), who runs the “Evangel Cathedral” in Upper Marlboro, MD. (And see Meares’ links to what some of us call Pimp University.) Meares just had pimp Clarence E. McClendon over to the “Evangel Cathedral” back on July 15th according to their web site, evangelcathedral.net. And I’ve already told you about another person McClendon has links to. Like dogs, these pimps, the brute beasts who trash scripture run in packs! See 2 Peter 2 to see why I call them beasts.

Fiesta Bowl star hires security in wake of racist threats

Associated Press

BOISE, Idaho ? The Boise State running back who scored the winning points in the Fiesta Bowl, then proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend on national television, says he has hired security for their wedding because of racial threats.

Ian Johnson, who is black, and Chrissy Popadics, who is white, are due to be married Saturday in Boise.

Since his Jan. 1 proposal, Johnson said, he has received phone calls, letters and some personal threats from people who object to their marriage plans.

“You take it for what it is ? the less educated, the less willing to change,” Johnson, 21, of San Dimas, Calif., told the Idaho Statesman for its Tuesday editions. “But we’re not acting like we’re naive to all the stuff that’s going on. We know what’s been said. We’re going to make sure we’re safe at all times. It’s an amazing day for us, and we’d hate to have it ruined by someone.”

“It’s really sad because a lot of people that are probably doing it are the same people who were cheering me on,” Johnson said.

My best wishes to Mr. Ian Johnson and the soon to be Mrs. Chrissy Johnson!

FoxNews Going to Bat For the Pro-Homosexual Movement.

by @ 1:06 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Gay Christian Movement Watch has the scoop. It’s a shame to see Lauren Green soft-shoe into the trap of embracing sin and eluding to the “born that way” nonsense.

I was born with a natural affection to women. Should I leave my wife and tell her I was just “born” with an attraction to women? Or maybe likewise my wife should run off on a fling with Denzel Washington, since she thinks (and most women do) he is a hansom man? (Of course she finds me attractive too ;) .) I mean if my wife ran of with Denzel, wouldn’t she just be responding to natural urges? The write-up linked above ends with the correct note:

At the root of all dysfunction is sin. Before there was science and dna, there was sin.

And here we have the root of our problem. No matter how someone claims to have acquired a sinful urge, IT IS STILL SIN. In this case, it all comes from rotten lust of the flesh!

How come FoxNews, that has profiled a countless number of pedophiles, does not ask if pedophilia is a sin? Ask if the pedophiles were just “born that way”? Ask if the person who is proven to be more prone to alcoholism commits sin when they drink? What of the clinically proven kleptomaniac? Do they sin when they steal? Should Winona Ryder have been convicted of any crime at all? I mean what if she was “born that way”, should man’s laws not apply? We don’t play this game with laws of man, but man dares to play these games with the laws of God!

The fact of the matter is that Jesus is the only way to salvation and all who embrace Him should work to avoid sin. Inappropriate use of our bodies is to be avoided.

1 Corinthians 6:9-13 (New King James Version)

9) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

10) nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

11) And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

12) All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

13) Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

No Christian should attempt to dilute the truth of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

FCC Chair Rejects Fairness Doctrine – Good!

by @ 11:31 pm. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

Good the FCC Chairman spoke up on this issue:

FCC Chair: Fairness Doctrine Not Needed

WASHINGTON -

The Federal Communications Commission has no intention of reinstating the Fairness Doctrine imposing a requirement of balanced coverage of issues on public airwaves, FCC Chairman Kevin Martin said.

Martin, in a letter written this week to Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., and made public Thursday, said the agency found no compelling reason to revisit its 1987 decision that enforcing the federal rule was not in the public interest.

Several Democratic lawmakers suggested that Congress take another look at the doctrine after conservative radio talk show hosts aggressively attacked an immigration reform bill when it was on the Senate floor, contributing to its defeat.

Martin, in his letter, said government regulation was not needed to ensure public access to a wide range of opinion. “Indeed, with the continued proliferation of additional sources of information and programming, including satellite broadcasting and the Internet, the need for the Fairness Doctrine has lessened even further since 1987,” he wrote.

Pence, in a joint statement with Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., welcomed Martin’s position but said Congress should still pass his legislation so that no future administration or FCC chairman could revive the doctrine without an act of Congress.

I wonder what the Liberals will try if Conservative blogs begin to dominate the blogosphere?
