And if the accused in the case noted below is found guilty, I say the death penalty is most fitting.
No Bond For Dirty Dishes Suspect
The Marietta man accused of stabbing his mother to death during a dispute over a sink full of dishes went before a judge for the first time on Wednesday night.
Due to the seriousness of the charges in the case, the suspect is being held without bond.
Ernest Lee Walker, 23, showed no emotion during his first appearance before a judge via video camera. He is accused of killing his mother during a fight over dirty dishes in their home.
“The victim — the suspect’s mother — asked him to do dishes. They got into an argument, where the suspect struck his mother. She threatened to call 911. He left the room. She started doing the dishes. When he came back into the room, he began stabbing his mother in the back with a knife,” said Marietta police spokesman, Mark Bishop.

Police are just as stunned, considering what started the fight and the fact that the victim’s two young granddaughters were also in the home at the time, and witnessed the entire thing.

Because the girls were in the home, police also charged Walker with two counts of cruelty to children.
