In Jesus Christ we are part of something much greater than “the law”. Never mind not committing murder or stealing, we are to love or neighbor as ourselves. Keeping one day “holy” via a set of legalistic rules is not a concern when you are working to do good every day. Jesus has written something better and greater on our hearts. Something we have in liberty and grace, while always working to do the will of God.

I wonder if your support doesn’t consist mostly of a knee jerk reaction to IC’s understandable disconcertment with seeing “Christian” leadership ignore the cultic aspects of Romney’s beliefs??

What about Romney’s stance (or rather STANCES) on abortion?? Any of his contradictory stances you choose to address would be fine.

Now about your questions. My comment must not be so idiotic that you would ignore it, because you continue to engage me in dialog. I know you feel something afoul is going on. I guess it’s easier for you to follow the masses and speak ill of a dissenter like myself.

I am worried that the body of Christ is being led to assist in the advancement of a cult. That is the problem with a cult leader being promoted by Christians to lead this nation.

Like Rudy, Mitt has flipped and flopped, saying anything to win an office. But Dobson says that he “likes” Romney. Doesn’t this make Dobson a hypocrite? To take one stance with Rudy’s double-speak, but take another with Romney.

With Mitt Romney, you’ve got the worse of all cases. Not only does Romney flip his position on issues, but he also is helping to advance a cult. A heresy that teaches men will become “god” themselves. That teaches God is only a child of some other “god”, and worked his way up to being “god” from mere flesh and bone. That teaches the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are not God, but that the Father is the child of a “god” and worked his way up, then bore Jesus as a “spirit baby” with one of his many “spirit wives” and that they also bore Lucifer as the brother of Jesus. In more recent years the Mormons have changed things to claim the Father has just one wife, who bore Jesus and Satan. The cult’s founder had 34 wives, many were just 14 years old.

If spreading the TRUE message of Jesus is paramount, we know advancing a Mormon will cause the lost to consider Mormonism. Meaning we’ve helped to advance a cult. I won’t be part of that and it is sad to see Dobson and others engaging in it.

No it’s not about “my” beliefs being threatened personally. It’s all about preventing the advancement of a cult. Christians are to promote the truth of Jesus and avoid advancing a lie. Advancing Romney advances a lie. Like it or not, whatever our President does causes the lost to consider it themselves. Which is why so many children now feel oral sex is OK, thanks to Bill Clinton. Let’s not add Mormonism to the list!
