Lower the Standard and the Filth Will Come in! James McGreevey Seeks Episcopal Priesthood.

The Episcopals allowed total filth to rise in their ranks and now more filth swarms in to lead them.

Read the details at Hot Air, about how disgraced former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey, who embraces the homosexual/gay lifestyle and is in the process of divorcing his wife, is attempting to become an Episcopal “priest”.

Allow me to again review with you the guidelines of what is required of one to become an elder/bishop.

1 Timothy 3:1-7 (New King James Version)

1) This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.

2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;

3) not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous;

4) one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence

5) (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);

6) not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.

7) Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Let’s not bother attempting to enumerate how many ways McGreevey is not qualified for the post. Especially when the Episcopal denomination already has people assuming titles like “bishop” who should be relieved of duty.

Satan make a mockery of the church, when we stray from sound doctrine.

But these new twisted doctrines are about growth for the sake of growth and bringing in MORE MONEY. Also see Titus 1:5-11.
