Stand Up Ministries and Melvin Jones Discuss Kenneth Copeland and His Misguided Audience

by @ 11:51 am. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

Stand Up Ministries and Melvin Jones of Pulpit Pimps had another good discussion. This time about Kenneth Copeland. In particular, Mr. Jones noted how Copeland’s teaching of Jesus is so far from the truth, that someone who thinks they are accepting Jesus by his teaching is very likely not walking in truth. As in, not accepting Jesus as prescribed in the Bible. As in, they might not honestly have found true salvation yet. This shows how twisted doctrine gets to the point that its eventual end is heresy. Because like Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses, a Jesus other than the one taught in scripture is being accepted.

Many false teachers tell the poor to give to them, when Jesus told saints to give to the poor. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been turned on its head and few are willing to vigorously challenge the lies.

On this page select the file “2007, April 26 (970 AM).mp3″ to hear the broadcast.

One of the many good scriptures mentioned during the broadcast:

Ephesians 4:11-15 (New King James Version)

11) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

13) till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

14) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

15) but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

We should not follow every wind of doctrine, but ONLY the truth.
