We’ve all heard about the horrible story of the shooter on the VT campus who killed over 30 people. The shooter deserves swift justice, ending with full execution of the death penalty, this year!

Of course in a moment of tragedy, Liberals run their agenda. The shooter didn’t have any weapons that fall under their lame assault weapons category, so they could not spin this on their efforts to ban guns they feel look menacing. So they are just running with the typical calls for more gun control. Michelle Malkin has details from America’s favorite fish wrapper.

But what if gun control made this problem as bad as it was? What if current gun control rules on college campuses are why so many people died? You see, as John Lott points out, that campus is a gun free zone. Even students with concealed carry permits get in trouble if they bring a gun on campus. So, while the shooter was killing people and probably timed his planned attack at a moment when no uniformed campus police would stop him, nobody else was armed and able to defend. This is the genius of Liberalism at work. Tens of people die and they cry for more of what causes good people to be without weapons. While it’s always the law breaker that ends up with the only weapon in hand to harm others.

update 4/17/2007 9:44AM: In all the mass of information about the shootings I didn’t realize the shooter killed himself. Which means his torment in hell is his reward. A punishment greater than any man could ever muster. It’s apparently obvious, that he denied himself an opportunity to repent of his sins. The heresies of people like Carlton Pearson can’t save those who will not repent of their sins.

Now I doubt all the people who love to cry “judge not” to me will be saying a word about my views towards this nut! The bottom line is that:

God is the judge, I just point out the obvious.

The shooter has been identified as Cho Seung-Hui. Of course if he had not shot himself, we’d watch millions in taxpayer dollars spent and years would pass, if he were ever given the earthly penalty he actually earned for this crime.

And given his name, some information in the update over at Hot Air that was picked up by Brian is probably true. I saw it last night, but was waiting for the name to be released before linking to that.

Now let me repeat my point for this post once again. If not for gun control laws far less people probably would have died. Which is why the shooting in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, that occurred almost exactly 9 years ago ended with just one person dead. This obvious math is incalculable when using Liberal (aka fuzzy) math.
