Medina S. Pullings Pimping for TBN – Night 6 (final night) of the TBN Pimp-a-thon! (Video)

by @ 3:00 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade, Video

Medina Pullings has proved she wants to conceal the truth. She had YouTube remove the video included in this post on DMCA grounds. This post was written in a form that it fully explains things even without the video. The video was simply an aid to help in teaching what she is up to.

Friday, Jan Crouch called in Queen Pimp Medina S. Pullings. The “co-pastor” of United Nations Church International. A church were people can pay tithes online via setting up automatic bank drafts. If you feel Christians should tithe or face a “curse” you should read my post Reconsidering the Tithe.

I really didn’t plan to capture this many nights of this mess. (5 of 6 nights.) Watching it is like wading through spiritual fecal matter night after night. Having to shower myself with scripture afterwards. But I felt this had to be done. I don’t find, that many in-depth pieces about the actual events and the games played are being put out. Sure some newspaper might do one article, but detailed nightly scripture based analysis of some of the mess, with actual video might help expose some of that filth to light. Christians need to seek out and be under sound doctrine, not people catering to their emotions and calling it spirit. You will be hard pressed to find sound doctrine on a TV screen and even with radio you’ve got to be careful. Those raising the most money are often saying things other than the truth to acquire their funds and so they can’t deliver anything but false doctrine in the process.

Jesus warned:

Matthew 7:15-23 (New King James Version)

15) ?Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep?s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

16) You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

17) Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18) A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

19) Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20) Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

21) ?Not everyone who says to Me, ?Lord, Lord,? shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

22) Many will say to Me in that day, ?Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name??

23) And then I will declare to them, ?I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!?

Pullings is a graduate of the place some of us call pimp university. Like Paula White, Medina S. Pullings’ physical beauty could con you into trusting her, but be warned. Her doctrine will leave you wanting for nothing but earthly gain. A reward your eternity can’t afford to bank on.

Jan Crouch called in Medina S. Pullings to perform for the final night. Now we know Jan is not one you might say has a marketable presentation about herself. So when Jan pulled her up, given what TBN is about (fleecing), you know that Pullings was hand picked not only for her false doctrine, but her looks as well. So with that in mind, watch Medina S. Pullings in action.

Medina S. Pullings, a queen of earthly gain

First, let me touch on this pastor matter. Because certain people assuming titles not granted to them in scripture is something that should always be noted. I don’t fear calling it out when a man like Eddie Long abuses a title and I will be straight and to the point regarding Medina S. Pullings, who assumes the title of “pastor”. Which functionally is the same as “bishop” or “elder”.

Titus 1:5-9 (New King James Version)

5) For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you?

6) if a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination.

7) For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money,

8) but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled,

9) holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

Women should not be assuming the title of pastor/bishop/elder. Running churches is a duty that was assigned for men to carry out. I could pull more scripture here about women and man being the head, but that’s not the main topic of this post. Those of you who wish to usurp scripture in this regard open the door to the Gene Robinson’s and all other manner of scriptural violations. Heal The Land With Spiritual Warfare has a good writeup on the topic. God pouring out his spirit on all flesh does not mean the violation of order. And all the pimps are violating rules for the titles they assume.

I think this quote best sums up Pullings’ performance.

Some of you need to sow a $300 seed, some of you need to sow a $3000 seed. Talking ’bout whooo. You said, well listen what do I do if I don’t have any of those things? Just sow a $30 seed if you don’t have it. Well should I sow a $30 seed, should I sow a $300 seed, should I sow a $3000 seed, which one should I sow? Sow the hard thing!

She is the epitome of twisting scripture to encourage people to give FOR personal earthly financial gain. She claims she did it all herself and bragged about charity she’s performed. She claimed she tries to do it in secret, but was speaking about it to the entire world. How ironic that I mentioned how we should perform charity in my post about Jamal-Harrison Bryant. (Bryant was on again for a while after her.)

Matthew 6:1-4 (New King James Version)

1) ?Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2) Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

3) But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

4) that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

She has her reward. Just because the Lord says the reward will be given openly, does not necessarily mean an earthly reward. The heavenly return is the must better option. None of the apostles ever bragged about how they received a bunch of anything material for their labor, sowing and work in the Gospel. We do know that they were persecuted, often hungry, often homeless and continued to give. None of these pimps including Pullings can lay a finger on the apostles and the only time Paul briefly bragged is regarding his persecution and weakness. Paul never said “sow the hard thing”. He left it to each person to decide based on what they had decided themselves. And if “sow the hard thing”, which is what the apostles did better than Pullings is the best option, how come Pullings retains so much wealth now? Giving is not at all something I take issue with. Paul noted that Jesus said it’s more blessed to give than receive, Acts 20:35. (In that verse Paul was talking about helping the weak and prior to that mentioned how he didn’t take anyone’s money and worked of his own hands to provide for himself and those with him.) However, she mentioned that:

This is a time now where we are good stewards over our money. This is a time now that we don’t fund things that are not of the kingdom.

Using her own qualification, nobody should ever give a dime to her or TBN. That’s why there are continual efforts to convince us that they are “good”. Because they don’t have enough truly good fruit to stand on its own merits. Ministry Watchdog groups give TBN a thumbs down! They don’t handle the money well, they are poor stewards. Also their doctrine is horrible. What I’ve shown you this week is just an example of the kind of things going on at TBN. They have Trinity in their name, while allowing on speakers who deny the Trinity, how odd. But not really odd, when you consider the motive is money. Just look at the list of cults they allow on or cater to.

Pullings made no mention of storing riches in Heaven. She makes the goal EARTHLY GAIN. And is encouraging people to give out of their lack. That is not something that others should encourage. The amount to be given should be the decision of the giver.

She mentioned that she feels “sowing seed” helped her get a good husband and could help others get a husband. No mention of virtue.

It was just another night of give us all your money and give God your heart.

Did you notice how she compared giving to TBN to when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son? These pimps treat TBN as if it is “God” and Pullings failed to mention that God never actually had Abraham sacrifice his son. But she’s willing to encourage the poor to sacrifice for TBN.

Look folks, if you just want money, there are plenty of books and classes on economics, that you can take to learn how to manage and gain money. Of course Christians should be able to manage money as good stewards. Folks who don’t know and don’t care about Christ know how to make money. There is no magic to it if that’s what you desire. But TBN peddles something that the biggest heathen in the world knows how to obtain, earthly gain.

Did you notice the scripture that flashed on screen during that video clip?

Proverbs 22:9 (New King James Version)

9) He who has a generous eye will be blessed,
For he gives of his bread to the poor.

Was the person who selected verses trying to send a hint? Notice, “TO THE POOR”. That would NOT include TBN.

False teachers like Medina S. Pullings do not tell people that righteousness is gain.

1 Timothy 6:3-12 (New King James Version)

3) If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,

4) he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,

5) useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

6) Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

7) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8) And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

9) But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11) But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.

12) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

And you know I had to add this one:

2 Peter 2:18-22 (New King James Version)

18) For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error.

19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

20) For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

21) For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

22) But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: ?A dog returns to his own vomit,? and, ?a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.?

Melvin over at Pulpit Pimps has a post up about the TBN mess and says:

When Is a Pimp Not a Pimp?

When is a pimp (the man who puts the ?hos out on the street to make money) not a pimp? Why, when he?s a ?ho. And this week we got to watch all the big pimps working for their uber pimp and pimpette Paul and Jan Crouch.

  1. Women Preachers Again: Mary Mary Versus Paula White, Medina Pullings, Joyce Meyer, Juanita Bynum, Etc. « Heal The Land With Spiritual Warfare Says:

[…] Posted by healtheland on April 14th, 2007 Now I was listening to this rather strange fellow on Christian radio one day who was trying to mix Christianity with Judaism. I am not talking about a Messianic Jew (the fellow was black) but he was claiming that Christians still needed to follow the 613 laws in order to please God. I listened to him for awhile just to see what he had to say (because it was obvious that he had spent a great deal of time studying the Hebrew language and Jewish tradition) but I decided that I could not learn anything from him because THE FELLOW WAS LITERALLY OUT OF HIS MIND and never listened to his show again. Yet, even in this fellow’s mentally addled condition, he managed to prove one of our more common cliches: even stopped clocks are right twice a day. On this particular instance, he was rising up in opposition to women preachers, explaining that a great many churches (apparently he had some sort of background in ministry and knew a lot of behind the scenes information) were promoting women preachers SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WERE VERY USEFUL IN FUNDRAISING. And why not? People trust women more than they do men. It is easier for a woman to manipulate and play on the emotions than a man (Paula White). More women regularly attend and financially support churches than men (all of these very financially lucrative “women’s conferences” run by Darlene Bishop and similar). Authoritative women are able to manipulate men who want – or need – that “mother figure” to open up their wallets as well as women who want – or need – that “father figure” to tell them what to do (Juanita Bynum is OUTSTANDING at this). And then there is this Medina Pullings person and those like her. A great many men (and not a few women) will free up their wallets, checkbooks, and credit cards in response to a woman who is just plain flat out attractive. Now I had been myself noticing how so many of these female preachers, especially the women co – pastors of male head pastors, JUST HAPPEN TO LOOK LIKE ACTRESSES AND MODELS AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER FLAUNTING IT (and that speaks nothing of a certain segment of our female gospel singers, many of whom are also preachers and pastors). Now I was avoiding commenting on this because, well, why mislead: I was being a lily – livered chicken! (A small revelation here: a great deal of the material that I put on this site absolutely terrifies me to write, sometimes so much so that I delay putting some things up for days or even longer at a time until I pray up the nerve to, so people who continually insist that I am just on here “accusing, pointing fingers, judging, tearing people down”, etc. out of jealousy or bitterness or for my own amusement really couldn’t be further from the truth … I actually derive no pleasure from this whatsoever and really would rather be doing something else, but I have this compulsion to warn people about false doctrine so they won’t have to endure a 30 year nightmare like I did.)  But fortunately, someone else was having thoughts on this matter similar to mine, and seeing their post on the issue emboldened me to FINALLY put something out that I should have a long time ago. I had took the time to read the comments or statements made about Pastor Medina Pullings, and I watched her, and I know that this women of GOD, can speak for herself, But God placed it on my heart to say something, because the words she has Blessed me with, You can’t accuse people of false doctrine, if you can’t quote a scripture to back it up, She has the power of GOD on her life, and I appreciate pastors , like her and also pastor jamal bryant, they give you examples so you would know that their , life was not like this always,
giving you hope, not to give up on your dreams, and not let anyone hold you back, see satan always find a way to work through someone, like Pastor jamal Bryant_Harrison said ” sometime the devil sees the favor of god on,so if he can not get to you, he goes to someone around you, that’s why we need to pray for people around us, the devil will use the weakest link, to try to tear us down, GOD, did not give you the go ahead, to put this up, because our GOD is not that type of GOD. He does not give a spirt off of tearing others down, There are some scriptures that I see quoted, but she gave examples, so that all ages would under stand, she was not trying to make anyone pay towards anything, but how many of us gave what god asked every pay check, all he asks for is 10% of our earned money, and some of us can’t even do that, because we have bills due, not an excuse, he gets his from the top, just like irs does. and yes Pastor Medina Pullings, is beautiful, but her beauty comes from within, and what your seeing is just showing up on the outside. so we need to stop trying to find negativity in someone else, and look within ourselves. and pray for god to strenthen us, I will pray for you, and may GOD bless you, to leave with you , pastor medina pullings, pastor jamal bryant, paula white, t.d jakes, pastor dollar, my Father REV. Hackett, and the late Bishop G.E. Patterson, were all placed in the ministry for a reason, and all have the power of GOD on their life, GOD can call anyone to the ministry even you,,,never look at the outside of a person, because sister pullings, has walked through storms also, we were not always like this , like Pastor Bryant, said the more we get closer to God, the more we go through, so if your not going through anything, that’s a question in itself, and I’m a witness the sister pullings, that it gets hard, but we don’t have to show you or look like we are going through something, when you have God in your life stongly , it’s about having faith and placing are problems and fears to GOD, we are not to judge anyone , when there doing GODs work, If it’s wrong God will handle it , take care and God Bless…….

  3. There are storms, lessons, testamony's to be given Says:

and also to leave with a true story that happen to me, I was going to cash my work chk, and this person came up to me and said he would wipe my windows, for a little money, I told him no thank you, but when I went into the building, I heard a small voice say, when you cash this check , give him $20.00, I was like are you serious, knowing I has bills, due, but I’ve learned through experience when you hear that voice, you better listen so I did, gave the man the $20.00 , without him wiping my car or doing anything for me, he hugged me, so I went on about my day, and went to work, got off at midnigt to come home in look at the mail, to see that I had 1600.00 dollars in checks waiting for, I have no idea where or why this came to me, but I checked to make sure, and it was mine, I pay tithes not because i’m going to get something back , but because it’s the right thing to do, and god is good to me , why can’t i do the little that he has asked me to do.

  4. There are storms, lessons, testamony's to be given Says:

    This is so sad,,,,,

  5. IndependentConservative Says:

uniqu121 – You might want to change your viewable screen name from being your e-mail address.

Now regarding your giving someone $20.00, that’s good of you, although you have no reason to brag. Give your charity in secret. I don’t need to know that you gave to someone. You can freely share scripture that instructs us to give to the poor.

We give because it is the right thing to do. Not to seek earthly gain. So there is no benefit in bragging about the times we give and possibly see an earthly return.

My issue is not with giving to the poor, but when people who claim to be speaking for God say give to multimillion dollar networks, that abuse the money and spread false doctrine. I ask you to read my full post above and the provided linked information. I can tell you have not read it all. So take your time, read it and refute where you disagree with me by providing scripture to back yourself up. Not “experiences”, but scripture. Just because you had an “experience” does not mean it was from the Lord. Line your words up with scripture. If your words line up with scripture, you can provide me chapter and verse as I have for you.

You can speak to any old Christian lady who is poor and has been giving their entire life with no great earthly reward. And ends up dying broke after a life full of debt. Basing things on your “experience” is not necessarily rooted in sound doctrine.

Now I ask you, which one of the apostles of Jesus Christ sowed a seed and boasted of receiving large earthly gain?

I invite you to read 2 Timothy 3. And keep in mind that Paul ended up being beheaded.

Do you feel you or the Pullings are better than the apostles?

God gave his Only Begotten Son, who died for our sins. Please stop feeling as if you deserve more. He gave you the Best in the gift of eternal life through a risen savior.

God as my witness, some folks signed on to being part of this faith for ALL THE WRONG REASONS.

  6. There are storms, lessons, testamony's to be given Says:

no sweetie, I did not give to receive earthly gain, nor am I bragging, I gave because it was the right thing to do, I wanted to share that with you, because that was one of the things that happened to me…..I’m not bragging, its a testimony, some of the things that I went through, some women either would have been taking pills, or killed them selves, but GOD blocked it , and would not let it be so.
your not understanding where I’m coming from, I said Medina could quote sciptures all day, which she did, but also for those whose out there in the world, who do not pick up a bible, could understand also, that’s like me telling you diagnosis, using medical terminology
you would not understand a would i’m saying, but if a quote using basic language it’s a different story, but the same meaning. we can quote scriptures, all day, but do we live it, you do not have to receive money from giving to the poor, or any earthly, people do die poor , i’m not saying i’m rich, but with me having the favor of god on my life, I don’t care what other people have, I don’t need a car to represent me, nor money, It’s a blessing just to live life, and to know GOD. the bible says trust in the lord with all thy heart in lean not under our own understanding, and all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path.
the bible also say, if you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you can ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you, So if Pastor Medina Pullings, Was praying for something, but she had to have faith on what she was going through, in God’s time it was given to her. ang that’s what she was saying, she might not have quoted a scripture, Medina Quotes, “I’m not telling something I heard about, i’m telling you something that I lived, Unquote, the way she slept on the floor, wearing her grandmothers clothing, but when god asked her to sow a seed, with the funds she made, she listened, and had faith. and she received. matthew 7:1, ask and it will be given to You: ( that was for a better life she wanted to live, to help someone else).
seek and you will find. (that’s for her husband).
knock and the door will be opened to you,( that was for the faith she had for building a church, and her store). for everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. God taught her to believe. you know if we kept every we go through a secret, how would we help others, sometimes god brings upon storms so that we can help someone else,
in matthew 6, yes it states not to let your left hand know what the right hand is doing, and I didn’t, I just did it, and god blessed me , but it also taught me, yes I was living chk to chk, and was holding on to the little money I had to pay bills, for being a single parent, but god taught me in the situation, to trust him, and he will make a way.
    in conclusion matthew 7:6
do not judge, or you too will be judged. for in the same way you judge others, you will be judged. and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye(sister), and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother(sister) let me take the speck out of your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? you hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother(sister) eye.
do not give dogs what is sacred: do not throw your pearls to pigs, if you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
We all need to believe in God, and stop given up so easy, she helped me and many ways, and I love her for, that, I fasted and prayed for an answer, God spoke to me , and told that my word will be coming for a man and a women of god, they both blessed me, I knew nothing that they were going to be own…it’s amazing how god works,
nothing going to come to us sitting home and complaining, god will only do so much, it’s also up to us to go after our goals, and stop hating on the person that did……..Something that I learned from tyra banks, ( her experience) when we feel the need to talk about or judge someone else, stop and take a look at our own self, and most cases it’s something we are unhappy with within our selves.
also what I learned from tyler perry helping someone. this is something he wrote to me.
    Hey everybody!

This morning I woke and was so frustrated about all the stuff I’m dealing with, trying to get this studio open. I was about to open my mouth and start complaining when I remembered something that happened to me about a year ago.

I was walking to my car and this woman who looked to be homeless started walking towards me. I’m ashamed to say this but I thought, “I don’t feel like being hustled today.” Then I got quickly convicted. I felt guilty so I started digging in my pocket for some money. As she got closer I noticed that she had the kindest eyes that I had ever seen. As I was reaching into my pocket she started to speak. I thought, “Here goes the sales pitch”. She said “Excuse me sir, I need some shoes”. Can you help me? My eyes filled with water because I remember being out on the streets and having only one pair of run over shoes. I was taken aback for a second.

I took her inside the studio and had my wardrobe people find shoes in her size. As she put the shoes on she started crying, praising God and thanking Jesus, and saying, “My feet are off the ground! My feet are off the ground!” Several of the wardrobe people started crying. I was crying. But I never forgot that, “My feet are off the ground!”

I thought, “Wow! All she wanted was some shoes.” She quickly disappeared and never asked me for a dime. I realized that I still had the money in my hand so I went out looking for her. She was gone just that quick so I looked all around the neighborhood for her. I found her standing on a corner looking down at her shoes still crying. I was so touched I asked her how she had gotten homeless. She told me that she had AIDS and that she was waiting to get into a shelter. She said that her family had turned their backs on her and she had nowhere to go and that God would make a way for her. I said to myself, “He just did.” Her faith and her praise moved me.

I took her to a nearby hotel and put her up until she was able to get on her feet. I had someone that worked for me to check on her from time to time and make sure that she had food and clothes. After about a month or so we lost touch but I never forgot her.

This past summer I was shooting “Daddy’s Little Girls” and this woman walks up to me smiling. I didn’t recognize her face but her eyes were familiar. She had on a really nice dress and her hair was done. It was her! She told me that the little help that I had given her changed her life. She was in a house now and doing very well.

I said all of that to say this. After I met this woman, every time I think about complaining and mumbling I remember, “My feet are off the ground!”

I wanted to share this with you just to let you know that when I say that I am thankful for you, I really mean it. And when I say that you are a blessing to me, I mean it. We take so much for granted sometimes that I just wanted all of you to know that I am grateful to God for you everyday.

Thank you for being in my life,

when we go through things or help someone, we always learn somethin from it, I love Pastor Medina Pullings, all ministers whom are doing gods work, because it’s been plenty of times, that I was going through thought i was not going to make it through and turned on the tbn, and received an encouraging word to keep going,
I don’t feel that i’m better or look better than anyone, people may judge from appearance, but I go through test and storms just as much as anyone else, but I learn from them, so I can help others, let them see I made it and so can you,,,,,

  8. IndependentConservative Says:

You are defending a pimp, who should not even be holding the title “pastor”, while SHE has the poor give of their lack, to a pack of multimillionaires!

your not understanding where I’m coming from, I said Medina could quote sciptures all day, which she did, but also for those whose out there in the world, who do not pick up a bible, could understand also, that’s like me telling you diagnosis, using medical terminology
you would not understand a would i’m saying, but if a quote using basic language it’s a different story, but the same meaning.

No, that’s the problem, this prosperity doctrine that is preached by people like Medina Pullings and the rest of the TBN crew has stayed from and twisted the Word of God, as has been noted in the post. That’s what happens when you avoid the “medical terminology”.

but with me having the favor of god on my life, I don’t care what other people have, I don’t need a car to represent me, nor money, It’s a blessing just to live life, and to know GOD.

So why does the one you defend continue to brag about her earthly gain?

Is it right to be a rich, while working on behalf of a multimillion dollar network, look at the poor and ask them to give? Isn’t the idea to give to the poor?

You’re falling over your own words to defend a hustler.

the bible also say, if you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you can ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you, So if Pastor Medina Pullings, Was praying for something, but she had to have faith on what she was going through, in God’s time it was given to her. ang that’s what she was saying, she might not have quoted a scripture, Medina Quotes, “I’m not telling something I heard about, i’m telling you something that I lived, Unquote,

You should take another read of John 15. Notice he says that your “joy” might be full, not your wallet! What we desire, as mentioned in verse 16 should be requested in the name of Jesus, who commands us to love one another. Jesus also told us to GIVE to the poor, he did not tell the poor to give money. He did not tell the poor that they would get earthly gain. He told the poor and the rich Luke 6.

He said the words in John 15 to his disciples. Let’s see what they got for all their asking:

    1 Corinthians 4:11

To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless.

You have turned asking into a petition for material wealth, which was forsaken by both Jesus and his apostles. Asking in the name of Jesus, you should ask as Jesus asked of the Father and as those who followed him asked. They did not request material wealth for themselves.

You claim you don’t petition for wealth, but defend someone you claim did just that. Someone who has gone as far as to brag about it to the entire world.

Again I ask: Do you feel you or the Pullings are better than the apostles?

Many Christians die wishing for money, life and their health. If we are to petition for wealth in times of hardship instead of contentment, that would fully invalidate 1 Timothy 6. Paul was speaking to people far more poor than you or Medina have ever been and he never promised they would get material gain. But Medina say “sow the hard thing” and leads people to feel they will become rich, just like her. Your assessment of scripture does not align fully. What you and others in the “prosperity” movement have done is hinge on one verse while missing the big picture.

And that is why your view of Matthew 7 is invalid. You have been led to view it in terms of an earthly return. By your own view of Matthew 7:7, this would mean anyone who died asking God for money or even physical health and did not receive it was a sinner.

You say she wanted a better life in order to help others.

How come those poor homeless apostles were able to help so many without going to get big homes for themselves? By sharing the Word of God and instruction to give to the poor, not multimillion dollar ministries, people gave.

seek and you will find. (that’s for her husband)

She said she sowed a seed and she feels that is how she got a husband. She fully implied that giving money to TBN wins one a mate. Do you not understand that she was on a TBN fund raiser asking people to call to give TBN money? The fact they are cash flush and doctrinally corrupt invalidates them and their messengers. Asking the poor to “sow the hard thing” to TBN. She is twisting scripture, or should I say you are twisting it to defend her.

you know if we kept every we go through a secret, how would we help others,

What? Charity is given in secret. If you give, you don’t have to tell me. You can help others by sharing the Word of God with them, that asks them to give TO THE POOR, not the POOR give to TBN in hopes of asking for and receiving a husband, money and such. You’ve gone from saying you are glad for just life, but turn to all the material things you feel Medina has petitioned for, in her defense. While she fleeces the desperate and poor via TBN. She got well paid to do her job that day. Paid off the backs of the POOR. A total shame and mockery to the message of Jesus Christ!

And do you could at least respect God enough in your typing to maintain the use of a CAPITAL “G”?

Something that I learned from tyra banks,

But regarding “judging”, you need to get this right. First of all, if I am clear of the issue, I can help others be aware of it. As is mentioned in verse 5.

Who better to help someone on drugs, than someone who overcame it?

I’ve been where you are right now. I’ve seen all the verses you’re tossing out before. I spent 7 years under one of these pimps. And now I am clear of that false doctrine and trying to help you. Because now I see it clearly for the heresy that it truly is!

You ask me not to judge the words of Medina, when even the apostles asked that their own words be judged. As Paul said:
1 Corinthians 10:15 (New King James Version)

    15) I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say.

Medina claims to be “inside” the body of Christ. That means she is to be judged, so that we follow those who teach the truth.

1 Corinthians 5:9-13 (New King James Version)

    9) I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.

    10) Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.

    11) But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

    12) For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

Now I sure wish Tyler Perry would stop dressing like a woman, making garbage and boasting about his charitable deeds! How ironic his character is named Madea.

  9. There are storms, lessons, testamony's to be given Says:

that’s the way you toke it, I did not hear her say she gave to the poor, but she gave experience of what she’s been through and her outcome from it, sow a seed, we all should sow a seed, and fast. not to receive earthly gain, but to hear a word from god. on the direction he would like for us to take. but it seems that you will always have something to say negative about someone, which makes me question are you happy, I choose rather not to write nor respond towards, people putting others down, These ministers, are people of god, and if they are wrong its up to god to decide, not us. I can quote scriptures and give you true testimony all day, you will find something neg. to say about it, we are not to judge anyone, god is the only that can do that. I’m under my father Pastor Hackett, and he does not make us tithes, or tell us any amount to give, it’s up to you, but we all know the right thing to do,
Pastor, Medina pullings, did say give 30.00, 300.00, or 3000.00, give what is hard,
she does not have a gun up to my head telling me the amount that i should give, I gave what god told me to give, because I benefit also, from some of the ministers on tbn, especially Bishop G E patterson,
god knows my intentions on why i gave, medina did not have anything to do with my seed.
I’m a pastors daughter, I see a lot and I hear a lot, its a difference, coming to church sitting in the audience, on the pastor anniversary, usher board, decon, etc.
and being a pastors child, it’s hard, God tell us to Tithe,
and if individuals have other intentions, it’s up to god, because god knows mine, i’m not trying to gain any early, i’m just trying to do the right thing towards god.
there are people that think if I pay tithes , than the pastor will be driving in a new car, have a big house, if we keep thinking this way , we will not have nothing, nothing,
My father is a pastor, I feel he should be taken care of by the church, he has to live to, he pastors, work a full time job, driving an 1 hr away from home, not getting enough sleep, working overtime, but its not so, because we have some people that don’t want to see others with nothing, and just complain, how can you have when you don’t give, it’s not about money it’s about having peace, god just give me peace and strength to know
I don’t need help, I have GOD, and he has blessed me to know people before they can even speak to me, That was not my first time, seeing Pastor Medina Pulling, nor Jamal bryant, nor any other minister, these people are powerful, and I love them
I will continue to pray for you, and what you’ve been through, with experience of pators, because there are some bad ones out, there, but that’s up to god to take of , and talk about not me, I will not call no one any name, nor say anything bad, you know the old saying, if you can’t say anything good, don’t say it at all…..they all have helped me and some kind of why, she touched on things, that I never told her, God is good, he’s outstanding, and the people that work’s for him are powerful.
so take care of yourself and god bless you and keep you.

  10. IndependentConservative Says:

You are convincing only yourself to continue paying to those with swelling words and I can only pray you read the Bible for yourself, so you know more of those scriptures you can’t currently quote. And in time you’ll realize how devious the people you hold in high regard in league with TBN truly are.

I have no problem with people helping a pastor be able to have money to live. I have a problem with millionaires who request money from the poor on behalf of other millionaires with lines like “sow the hard thing”. While instead of having just double honor, seek more money for what they claim are their ministries, only to increase their own personal wealth to multiples of double honor.

Plenty of people went from rags to riches, only to prey on people still in rags. Some of them claim to be ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Read over the scriptures I’ve provided. You are instructed to flee those evil doers. Or be burdened with the twisted doctrine and lies they lay on you, which you will have to repent from yourself.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (New King James Version)

    3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

    4) and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

That was said by an often hungry and homeless man named Paul.

Name one apostle that claimed they sowed a seed and got major financial gain in return? See how those following Jesus prayed. See what they got in return. See who they gave to. See who they asked people to give to. See how their own ministries handled money. See how all of that compares with what you see from TBN and Medina S. Pullings.

Please read the Word of God for yourself. Stop saying you can’t quote scripture and counting on what is given to you by others. Study it, learn it, memorize it. Ask God for wisdom to see clearly.

I say this to you in love in all sincerity. I was there once, funding the activity of lying scripture twisting pimps. God helped me out of it, but I had to read more of the Word. I had to stop making excuses.

Don’t worry about how God will handle them and worry about how God will judge YOU. You have been given the truth.

  11. Songstress83 Says:

I think everything you’ve said is hilarious. I had to laugh when I looked at this. You obviously are a “christian” right? I don’t think so. Anyone can quote scriptures and not understand the true context of them and thats just what you’re doing. You can quote the scripture but you don’t know what you are even reading or writing. I’ll try and make this brief. Yuo know I don’t know how you associate the word pimp with the woman of God. And you obviously no nothing about her or her ministry because if you did, you would know that she is the Co Pastor and her husband is the Pastor. She she pastors along with him but he is still the head and is her covering. So if you really knew anything about her you would know that, and know that he is her leader and she has let it be known. He is her covering and she is very submissive to her leader. Now you talk all this junk about sowing and tithes and earthly gain. You talk nothing but false doctrines. I think you are the FALSE PROPHET the Bible speaks of. You must be must live in a rundown shack the way you speak of not having eartly gain but riches in heaven. And you obviously have never heard her speak before because if you did you would see a broader spectrum of what she has to say. On this particular night, yes she was talking about sowing but not speaking of us only having earthly gain. So you missed your breaktrhough. I feel so sorry for you. See it is about our riches in heaven but its not ONLY about that. God doesn’t intend for us to live poor or beneath our means while we are here on earth either. So yes we have heavenly gain but He desires also that we have the very best while we are here on earth. This is her message. Not just that night but any other time she preaches on that. So don’t twist up her message. She was not bragging as you said. Have you ever heard of a TESTIMONY? Well she was sharing what God did in her life to let others know it can happen for them also. Didn’t God say we would be the HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL, ABOVE AND NOT BENEATH. We are the lender and not the borrower. So she was giving an acoount of what shes seen by her giving. So yes sow the hard thing. Why? Because God sees the sacrifice. See its all according to what you’re capable of doing. Some people might only be able to sow a $30 seed and God knows that. So for thwm that is the hard thing. Others my be able to exceed a $3,000 seed with no problem. So the Lord knows who is giving freely and who is doing it grudgingly. She made the comparison to Abraham because giving his son was the HARD thing. God knew he wouldn’t let Abraham kill his son. He just wanted to see Abraham’s faithgulness and how much he loved and trusted God. So he saw Abraham put nothing before God abd that he loved God more than his son. You see that God didn’t ask him for Ishmael, he asked for Isaac because that was the hard thing. God doesn’t need our money he owns the silver and gold. But when we sow in lack we reap a harvest greater than what we placed in the ground. This is what Medina was saying. You know this but your job is to lead people astray. But guess what? It won’t work. And looks have nothing to do with it because she is far more beautiful on the inside than she is on the outside. And I feel sorry for you putting your mouth on the Mouthpiece of God. Since you feel so sure of yourself what you need to do is visit their church in Richmond VA for yourself. And I know you won’t even be able to handle the weight of the glory of God. But keep on doing what you’re doing because the ministry needs people like you. Thats how we know when we’re doing our job, doing what the Lord has told us. When we don’t water down what he has said and we don’t conform. If she was a preacher who compromised the word of God and what he has told her to speak, everyone would love her because it would be what they want to hear…But would it be what God is saying? As you continue to slander the ministry of Pastors Orrin and Medina Pullings they will only get greater and greater. So will TBN. They will only be heard in more countries throughout the world. God is getting the glory for all that she is doing and she never takes credit for a anything. She is a true servant of God.

  12. maval Says:

they dont know what there talking about

  13. IndependentConservative Says:

My Bible mentions a bishop and elders running churches, which is mentioned repeatedly should be men. Deacons too. No where does it sanction a female co-pastor or co-bishop, just men for that role. I mentioned what she calls herself. Something she has no foundation to claim.

Although I provide 10 minutes here, I saw the so-called sermon myself, so I stand my by assessment of it. I got my “breakthrough” when I accepted Jesus as my savior. It didn’t come with a new earthly house and I didn’t ask for one, but for my soul to be saved from sin and death. Jesus did mention he’s preparing for me in Heaven and I’ll gladly accept whatever he gives me there, even if it is a shack.

So yes we have heavenly gain but He desires also that we have the very best while we are here on earth.

Then why did Jesus say we’ll be persecuted? Why were the apostles continually broke and homeless? Why were they all murdered? It seems from what actually was their earthly lives, that the “very best” was the best beatings men could receive! Desire for money has you following twisted doctrine.

    This is her message.

Yes it is and that’s why you love it. It’s HER message, but that’s not the message of Jesus Christ.

Didn’t God say we would be the HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL, ABOVE AND NOT BENEATH.

The usual cherry-picking of old covenant doctrine. I pray you one day learn to rightly divide how Deuteronomy 28:13. It was Moses speaking of how the Jews would be blessed for THEIR obedience. It didn’t have a thing to do with you getting a new car today. And interesting how people who cherry pick from that chapter never mention the curses. It was about the Jews getting what was promised to them and all that has past. Stop cherry-picking from promises not made to you.

She led people to feel they should sow hard for material gain. To be like her. Shameful!

when we sow in lack we reap a harvest greater than what we placed in the ground

Sow in the lack. I thought Christians gave to those in lack, instead of requesting of them, while working with networks that sit on millions in reserves. I’ll tell the poor to put their money in the dirt next time. At least they’ll get back more than with TBN, because at least they’ll get their same money back, instead of more empty false doctrine. And there’s a better chance of them hitting a gold brick while digging in that dirt, than giving it to the dirty hands at TBN at the instruction of Pimpstress Pullings!

putting your mouth on the Mouthpiece of God

I’ve always thought that was a funny cliché, but I still can’t find the scriptural basis for that one. Not even in the old covenant scriptures. (Yes for you who know the truth, I’m setting this commenter up so maybe they will learn something.)

what you need to do is visit their church in Richmond VA for yourself

I’ve seen enough pimps in person and seen enough of this one already to know I don’t need to see her in person in her full pimpstress bloom. She’s opened a new pimp operation in Atlanta you know. She’s trying to work the game with the rest of the big pimps there.

If she was a preacher who compromised the word of God and what he has told her to speak, everyone would love her because it would be what they want to hear.

It’s VERY hard to find a critical word about this woman anyone on the Internet. Most everyone speaks of her as if she’s wonderful. One of the reasons I’ve exposed her here. Because like you, most people don’t see the wolf in designer clothing. A wolf that I hear (from the good folks at Pulpit Pimps) came up under the disgusting pimpress named Juanita Bynum. Mrs. Pullings with to Pimp University and came up under a pimp.

…they will only get greater and greater. So will TBN.

So long as people who claim the Lord fail to read and understand scripture you’re probably right. In fact, scripture says this would happen, because Paul warned Timothy he would have to endure through it in 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

She is a true servant of God.

She is a true abuser of scripture for profit.

As I’ve told others, I’ve been where you are and pray you continue reading the Bible on your own and one day see the truth for yourself.

  14. maval Says:

SONGSTRESS IS TELLING THE TRUTH!!!!!! stop hateing!!!

  15. IndependentConservative Says:

    Care to explain yourself maval?

An explanation with some scripture to support yourself might help us have a more meaningful exchange than tossing out a continual litany of cliché.

Please take a look at how Jesus lived on earth, how his apostles lived and provide what you feel is an honest scriptural basis for your support of the clip shown above.

  16. Songstress83 Says:

First of all you are shameful and you also sound ignorant. You sound so foolish saying “pimp university”. Is that in the US because I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it. Like I you read the bible but have no understanding. See, you can read the word but you haven’t yet had a true revelation from God. Not a true experience. She is the Co pastor, husband and wife in ministry together, under HIS leadership. And God who is the first covering.
And thats just it. You received your breakthrough when you first accepted Chrsit but you haven’t had a true experience of God since then. It’s not once saved always saved. There are greater levels, greater dimensions. And it seems you haven’t tapped in to that. And I will also accept what the Lord has given me, even if its a shack. However, I know a shack may be where I begin but thats not where I should end. We don’t despise small beginings but the end should be greater. Just like the word speaks that our future will greater than our past. Not just speaking of heaven, but while we are yet on earth. And HER message is what the Lord gives HER. Jesus was persecuted so that we wouldn’t have to be. He endured the cross so we wouldn’t have to. Have you hung on a cross? No. Why? You don’t have to pay the price he did. When he died and rose that was for us. Seems like you want to be the martyr.
I don’t desire money, nor does she. We desire to have all that God plans for us. The material things are a small part of it. If God doesn’t do another thing for me I’m fine as long as I have him. It’s spiritual, emotional, mental. God touches all these parts of us along with the financial. The word says be a cheerful giver. Will a man rob God? When you dont tithe, yes. You don’t gove your 10% to the church you give it to the Lord. He commanded it in HIS word.
Curses? the word says you will be cursed with a curse by not tithing and giving God whats already his. You are the one who is “cherry picking” from say the part and not the whole. He was talking about the Jews but do you think the Jews are the only ones that are blessed? No. Thery are his chosen people but God also desires that we be blessed. For “if we delight ourselves in the Lord he will give us the desires of our hearts”. When we sow its not just for material gain. It can be for a greater anything, but not limited to one specific thing.
When we get past the point that we don’t give to man, we will be better off. When we realize we are giving to God. HIS word talks about how we should sow.And I quote YOU here:
“”””Sow in the lack. And there’s a better chance of them hitting a gold brick while digging in that dirt, than giving it to the dirty hands at TBN at the instruction of Pimpstress Pullings!””””) Here you sound just like the parable of the talents in the bible where the man with one talent buried his and Jesus turned him away wanted nothing to do with him. But the others who built more on what they had, he was pleased with. The one who buried his was foolish. He thought he did right, but was wrong. And I dont see a “spiritual basis” for “pimpstress” either.
I know you’re afraid to visit where the true power of God Dwells. You dont have to admit it. But I guess if Medina was 300lbs ande looked like Aunt Jemima and lived in the backwoods somewhere people would be more accepting. Well we are the Kings Kids. Children of the most high God. Our father is Royalty so we should carry ourselves as such. Because we represent him. Its not just the rappers and the whoremongers and all these people who should be prosperous. But as we represent Christ we should look OUR best. Not like anyone else, but the best WE each can be. So you can’t knock her for striving for the best. We should all desire that for our own lives. Inside and out

  17. IndependentConservative Says:

Jesus was persecuted so that we wouldn’t have to be

Not so! Please cite your scripture that affirms that statement. We were told by Christ that he was persecuted and we would be as well.

Seems like you want to be the martyr.

Every apostle that was promised a greater reward than you or I in Heaven was. You got a problem with possibly being killed for the Gospel?

You speak of tithing. But you fail to understand like with your other old testament quote, who was being asked to tithe. By the way, read up on the truth. I highly recommend you not only read my thoughts, but also the material linked there and in the comments linked there. Take the time to actually read and view the video material. You will learn something.

Yes I said put the money in the dirt, because the man who did that gets a greater return than when giving to TBN. In the parable Jesus told the man who put it in the ground he’d be better with the money changers, but giving to TBN leaves a negative return, because they spread a false doctrine. You’re out $30 or $3000 and the Lord does not work in false doctrine.

Its not just the rappers and the whoremongers and all these people who should be prosperous. But as we represent Christ we should look OUR best.

HAHAHAHA!!! Not just the rappers should have the “bling” you should have some bling too and because you’re a Christian you feel you’ve earned it. HA!

  18. Songstress83 Says:

Yes we would be persecuted, but not as you are trying to imply. It is two fold. Yes it can mean the physical persuing but it can also mean an attack of slander against the believer. So it doesn’t necessarilty mean to be beat up as you’ve tried to say in other comments. In Matthew it says “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake”. So You actually are the PERSECUTOR. You are persecuting the men and women of God on a daily basis. So this why they are continuously blessed. For the people who are like you, who speak falsely of them God is only blessing them more. I don’t have a problem being killed for Christ’s sake, but I’m also not going out everyday looking to be killed. I’m not say Kill me because I love Jesus. But I will never renounce Him and if that costs my life so be it. So there’s a big difference in those examples. You speak as if you think believers should want to die. As if we should go looking for it. Thats just not so. I can tell that you do not tithe because you do not believe WE are the ones God was talking about. I am sorry you are so misled. I know so why you go against the tithe so much. I understand exactly what it says. And thanks but, I don’t need to read the material linked or watch any video. If I never read one book again the WORD OF GOD tells me all I need to know about how to live my life and what is expected of me.You should read Malachi 3:6-12 and ask God to reveal what he is saying there. You see, the payment of tithes and offerings is a recognition of our subjection to God and that He owns us and all that we have. So to withhold the tithe is to renounce the sovereign authority of God and to be guilty of the same sin as Lucifer in the Beginning. And the blessings come not because God receives His due portion but because in giving the tithe believers put themselves in the place of proper obedience and subjection to God. Tithing was clearly commanded in the Old Testament and served as the minimum standard for giving in the new testament. Read Matthew. So the statement of putting money in the dirt is contradictory to the word of God because he has never commanded that. He actually speaks against it. He doesn’t tell us to put our money in the ground and bury or hide. How foolish. That just lets me see a little more about how little you know the word and it shows me where you stand in your walk with the Lord…If you even have one. Please do not put words in my mouth. I never said the word “bling”. Thats your interpretation. I don’t need the bling nor do I see myself as having earned it. None of us are worthy. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. We are not worthy in any way. But only because of the grace and the mercy of God that we are even here. I went on saying that God desires that His people be proseprous in every way. Mind, body, spirit, soul. In every way. So God desires that we do our best and have the best. Not everyone is at the same level in God so anothers best my not be my best. But whatever MY best is I will be that and accomplish that. Like I said we are the swons and daughters of the most high God and there is nothing that he will withhold from us.

  19. IndependentConservative Says:

You should read Malachi 3:6-12 and ask God to reveal what he is saying there.

I read it and He did. Want to know what he told me? You can read all about it.

Jesus tells me that I see him when I see the poor in need, not when I see a millionaire on TV ask me for a buck.

Matthew 25:31-46 (New King James Version)

    31) “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

    32) All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

    33) And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

    34) Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

    35) for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

    36) I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

    37) “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

    38) When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?

    39) Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’

    40) And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

    41) “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

    42) for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;

    43) I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

    44) “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

    45) Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’

    46) And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

So no, I don’t commit 10% of my gross + to somebody who claims to be casting out demons, telling me the anointing is there and I better pay in to get my portion and saying I must sow hard to a TV network that sits on millions in reserves.

One day you might read all of the book of Malachi and learn that THEY WERE PAYING TITHES! They were not robbing God by not paying, they were robbing God by trying to give the worst of their animals. They had money, but here’s a news flash, TITHING WAS NOT DONE IN MONEY, BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ABOUT MONEY. It was about literal food. Go ask an orthodox Jew if the prophets of old told people to tithe in money. Ask them if they had money in those times. And ask them why they don’t tithe today. Even those who were given the instruction and their ancestors who feel they are under “the law” no longer practice this. And we are not under “the law”.

Tithing was clearly commanded in the Old Testament and served as the minimum standard for giving in the new testament.

Please provide your scriptural basis for this supposed “minimum standard” when it comes to giving money in the new covenant that we live in. I assure you, they are references to activity that was to be done under “the law”, not instructions for you. Which is why Paul, who went to lots of Gentiles, ministered and wrote to them. Gentiles who knew nothing of Jewish customs were NEVER instructed to pay a minimum of 10% +. They were never told that God desired 10%+, they were never told that they would be “cursed” like mentioned in Malachi 3:6-12 if they failed to give 10% + of money and were never told to give 10% of anything.

You see the rappers with the material wealth and feel you should have it too, that’s the bottom line.

You have been misled in scripture and are uncomfortable when presented with something that disagrees with the bad teaching you received. But don’t worry, I received that bad teaching and Jesus helped me out of it. You keep reading here and you will learn something.

If you feel this is persecution, you can leave at any time.

  20. Songstress83 Says:

I ‘m sure you’ve it read however I’m not sure you got the revelation of what the Lord was saying. That has become obvious to me. You’ve missed it. You seem to think that when you’re asked to sow that is the person asking you for your money to keep it for themselves. Firstly, we sow as unto the Lord. We don’t give to man. Physically it’s being given to a church but we know the spiritual side is that we are offering it to the Lord. This is what he has required of us. The lord loves a cheerful giver! The word says “He who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. So it’s not about the so called millionaire. If they were poor and broke would it make a difference? Would you then give to their ministry? You fail to realize that it’s not the money that got them to where they are. It was only God because no matter how much money they have, if God didn’t open the door the money wouldn’t matter. When he closes a door no amount of money or anything else can open it. When he opens the door nothing and no one can shut it. See, you just see these people now but you didn’t see when they started out and had nothing and how it was their FAITH that got them to where they are. Stepping out on faith and believing God when they had nothing and God giving them favor in the eyes of man. You keep talking about the poor and the needy but I haven’t yet heard you make mention of all the countries that TBN visits feeding the hungry. You’ve said nothing about the outreach ministries they are involved in where they feed and clothe the poor all over this world.
Once again the tithe is to the Lord NOT to man and no one makes you pay anything. We all have free will to do whatever we want. God doesn’t make us do anything. The men and women of God don’t make us do anything. I have read the book of Malachi. Anytime we don’t give God our BEST we are robbing him. So if your paying tithes but it is less than the 10% God requires we are robbing him. If they gave the worst of their animals they were robbing God. So whether the giving was done with animal sacrifices then or monetary now whatever we withhold is robbing God. And we shall be cursed with a curse. I know they didn’t give money but in our times that the form that we use for payments. The next time you give an offering or tithe would you take a lamb or goat to the altar? I think not because that isn’t our form of worship in giving. Matthew 6 1-4 gives a standard for giving. You mentioned this reference in your earlier comments but gave a twisted description of its meaning. God gives us clear instructions throughout the bible on how to give. However, there are always people who try to find a way to get around it.
The rappers don’t bother me because I already am prosperous in every way. It’s not about seeing them with the material things but I know that if those who are wicked have these possessions, then so much more is what God wants us to have. Psalms 112 says, Blessed is the man that fears the Lord (verse3: Wealth and riches shall be in his house and his righteousness shall endureth forever.) This chapter contrasts the righteous and the wicked. The scripture isn’t misleading it’s those like you who take it and twist it around trying to mislead others. I’m not uncomfortable at all actually. I thank God for the opportunity for me to let the true word of God be told as people try to make it their own word. But we can’t change his word and we can’t deny it.
I do not feel persecuted as I have chosen to respond to your false accusations. I am merely standing in the gap for the countless others you have been persecuting with your words and thoughts.

  21. IndependentConservative Says:

We are to be good stewards and a steward would be a fool to give to those they know are poor stewards. You are giving to anyone claiming Jesus and an “anointing”, while failing to see the false doctrine and continual abuse of funds. Funds they don’t even need in the first place, given their millions they hold in reserve. Jesus required me to give to the poor. There is no requirement to give to TBN.

It is interesting how you’ve seen what Jesus said judgment is about, but totally skip over it to defend TBN. All in your hope to “reap” bountifully. You are sowing to something worse than dirt and will reap accordingly. Yes you’ve got material wealth, enjoy it.

If they were poor and broke would it make a difference? Would you then give to their ministry?

If their ministry was based on true and solid doctrine and they needed the money I might consider giving a donation. TBN and Pullings:
    1) Don’t need the money.
    2) Are full of false doctrine. Leading people to give in the name of material gain.

How do you feel about the Oneness doctrine of TD Jakes, who denies the Trinity and claims God is not 3 entities working as One? Or how about Benny Hinn who claims God is 9 entities? These are the faces of TBN. Or TBN for a time dumping someone critical of Islam (Hal Lindsey)? TBN is the servant of mammon, that tells you they are about God’s business.

You should read more of I and II Corinthians. You might learn that when the statement about sowing and reaping were made, they prefaced such statements by speaking of how they were continually broke and homeless, only going off funds given to them by one group and asking nothing of others. Paul was ministering for free. Today’s ministers, while receiving for their work should not receive 100 fold honor, no minister should. They don’t have to work for free like Paul, but they have gone way beyond what they need and even beyond what would make their lives comfortable. So yes they are pimps, working in excess to gain more excess from you, while telling you that you’ll be “blessed” for it. They are deceiving you. To the point you defend the ones playing you for a fool.

I’ve heard all their crying stories of how broke they used to be. This does not in any way justify their hording of funds now and their twisting of scripture to mislead people like you. They tell how they were poor till they started pimping and got rich. Stories you cheer about and give them more. Because you express and endorse the same abuse they do.

They never tell you that even when the Jews did tithe, which was not money, that the poor were never expected to tithe, widows did not tithe, people who did not own land did not tithe and even Joseph and Mary did not tithe because of the profession Joseph was in, although they made money. There is much you need to learn. You’ve been greatly deceived.

Did Bill Gates get rich by faith? Given how he’s made so much money, maybe we should be reading Microsoft manuals instead of the Bible?

You keep talking about the poor and the needy but I haven’t yet heard you make mention of all the countries that TBN visits feeding the hungry. You’ve said nothing about the outreach ministries they are involved in where they feed and clothe the poor all over this world.

You mean their poorly managed charity fronts that they brag about to make you feel they do good int the world? You really need to get a clue. Because they are terrible stewards and you defend them.

So if your paying tithes but it is less than the 10% God requires we are robbing him.

I have learned that people like you are the reason many people, Blacks in particular remain in a financial rut. Giving what should be used to survive and help your children is passed off to pimps and people are left little or nothing to help those Jesus said give to.

I have seen EVERY WORD YOU TYPE so many times before. I’ve sat through these pimps teaching the same garbage. It’s just pathetic. You’re not going to be cursed if you stop giving that 10%. You might actually realize better uses for it.

I know they didn’t give money but in our times that the form that we use for payments.

If you would actually read some of the suggested material you might find hope from your ignorance. They did use money for payments in those times. The tithe had nothing to do with money. They had plenty of it, but it was not at all the twisted view you’ve been given. You’re just repeating the garbage you were told about it and refuse to research these things yourself or view material that might help you do some research.

Matthew 6:1-4 is clear to me. You claim I’ve twisted it, but have not shown how.

Maybe what God wants you to have is not of this world and you should let the rappers worry about material wealth.

Psalms 112, again you run to old covenant promises of material gain, to apply them to yourself in a physical way, when for you it is spiritual in nature.

If Psalms 112 applies to you in terms of material gain, why were the apostles broke, homeless and murdered?

I’ve enjoyed watching you avoid every instance where I hold your claims up to the actual lives of the people who wrote the words to the new covenant you should be walking in.

  22. Songstress83 Says:

Yes we are to be good stewards but what you think to be factual is merely your opinion. You believe they are false prophets and “pimps” but that is YOUR opinion and you’re entitled to that. Please let me know how they abuse funds and in what way? How do you know they have millions in reserve? Are you their financial adviser? You know hardly anything about the ministries you claim to know so much about. It’s not really about me defending TBN because it’s not just about them. It’s about all the people of God you are backbiting against. I don’t believe I’ve skipped over anything concerning Jesus judgment. And as I’ve said previously it’s not about material wealth but I think you’re stuck on that. It’s about total well being, in every area of our lives.
We are to sow bountifully because God says so in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. This is not something that man made up. To explain briefly, its stating that ones return is determined by their investment. Verse 6: Here it denotes unrestrained giving. Verse 7: The giver is to have a willing heart and a sincere desire to give an offering. Paul was not interested in their money and neither is God. Who are we to judge if someone needs the money or not. You don’t know that. You only go by what you see on the outside and you are not led by the spirit. You talk so adamantly of them not needing the money that I can tell that is your issue. You don’t know what is needed you go merely on how something looks. I see that there is no spiritual depth in you. No matter how many scriptures and links you include here. I’d very much like to know where you got your information on TD jakes and Benny Hinn.
Again you speak of what today’s ministers “should” work for when you do even know what they work for. What makes you think that they are using the offerings to go towards their own personal lives? Before Drs. Orrin and Medina Pullings opened up their new building they were in a smaller building. When they first started out they had only a few members. Do you think the little bit of offering they were getting was enough to provide for them and their family? No, and it wasn’t used for that. It was used for the building up of Gods kingdom. Like I said before, when you have the favor of God He gives you access that doesn’t need money. So it’s not about the money. These preachers don’t say “give me your money”, they do what the word of God has said. You’re giving unto the Lord and it’s your obedience to Him that HE rewards you for. HE is the rewarder, not the church. Also a “PIMP” is someone who arranges customers for prostitutes to have sex with and that’s their job. I’ve never seen the people you are talking about arrange for anyone to have sex with someone and get paid for it. Maybe you should find a better word to express your feelings…
I don’t know of anyone who is hording funds but I see you twist the scriptures to make people follow you. It was God who prospered them, not people. I’m aware of how the Jews tithed. Is there biblical reference on what you say about the poor, widows, people w/no land and Mary and Joseph concerning their tithes? You believe I’m deceived, I believe you’ve been brainwashed. Bill Gates may the richest man in the world but he doesn’t have Jesus. So in my eyes his riches are nothing. However, he used the intelligence that God gave him in order to get where he is today. But sadly, most people who are that rich and don’t know the Lord become their own Gods. The bible tells me not only how to prosper as a whole but how to live right. No Microsoft manual can do that.
Please elaborate on how they have “poorly managed charity fronts”…. Oh I know what it is: They set up their studios to look like third world countries and then they get men, women and children who look emaciated to put on raggedy clothing and pretend as if they don’t have clean drinking water, homes to live in and food. Yeah I really see how it’s all a front.
“Terrible stewards” is again YOUR opinion. You said:
    1. “I have learned that people like you are the reason many people, Blacks in particular remain in a financial rut. Giving what should be used to survive and help your children is passed off to pimps and people are left little or nothing to help those Jesus said give to.”
However, I’ve learned that because we withhold from God what is rightfully His THAT is why we stay in financial ruts. Most people live from paycheck to paycheck and the money that is made isn’t even enough to take care of everything but when you take care of God first, He will take care of you. I’ve experienced firsthand what giving does. It may have been my last but I’d given tithes and sacrificial offerings and where I didn’t have the “money” (because I gave him what was His) right away God had taken care of every needed. Before I could even realize it HE had supplied every need of my family and the wants too. So it wasn’t our paychecks that did it, it was God. So when we don’t give to Him we will stay broke financially, spiritually and in every way. The problem is we have become our own gods that is why we keep what we think we’ve earned. Well if God hadn’t supplied the jobs we’d have nothing anyway. So in our disobedience we keep what is His and then wonder why we’re working so hard and still struggling for all of the bills to be paid.
I know they used money for payments back then. When I said they didn’t give money I was referring to offerings. They didn’t use money for offerings they sacrificed their animals but we do not use animals in our times. We use money. I don’t care about the wealth of the rappers because the wealth of the believer is far greater. The scriptures aren’t just one way. They don’t mean we will only be spiritually blessed. If that’s the case then we should not be concerned with being in good health either because God doesn’t intend for that because it’s also has to do with our physical. Like I said before we have total well being in Christ Jesus. Also, you think we shouldn’t be wealthy or have any kind of financial prosperity, then how will we feed the hungry with no money? How can we help the needy if we can’t even do for ourselves? How can we give to those in need when we have nothing to give?
You speak only for yourself when you speak of only spiritual gain. I know that the Lord shall supply ALL my needs according to His riches and Glory.

  23. IndependentConservative Says:

Given my words to Songstress83 go ignored, my words in this comment are to others reading.

Please let me know how they abuse funds and in what way? How do you know they have millions in reserve? Are you their financial adviser?

Do you see how I gave her detailed information which she ignores and then she asks, “how do you know?”. This is the logic of one who not only is being misled, but is enjoying it.

It’s about all the people of God you are backbiting against.

Notice, you show someone the mess that’s going on and they would rather speak against the one who exposes the mess and offers correction.

We are to sow bountifully because God says so in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.

Anybody who knows the truth think she’s already 2 Corinthians 7, 8 and 9 in full? She claims saints should sow, but does not have a clue of where she should be sowing. She sows into land that bears tares and enjoys it. She probably thinks seeds are money 😀 . (Jesus defined “seed” as the Word of God to be sown into good soil, which is an open heart.)

This is not something that man made up.

The poor being told to give of their lack in hopes of, as she puts it:

To explain briefly, its stating that ones return is determined by their investment.

Is total prosperity doctrine and the big lie of it. Because it’s geared towards the poor giving in hopes of receiving in order to no longer be poor. It’s the sick game being played by pimps and as you can see, their followers.

Who are we to judge if someone needs the money or not. You don’t know that. You only go by what you see on the outside and you are not led by the spirit.

This statement is so foolish it does not require a response at this point, especially if you’ve already been following all the comments in this thread. So I won’t repeat myself.

I see that there is no spiritual depth in you.

Notice the “judge not” criers always say things like this 😀 . Disagree with them, show them the scripture and it’s you who are not as “deep” as them 😀 . It’s sad, yet comical at the same time. Really mostly sad.

No matter how many scriptures and links you include here.

Because what I offer she ignores.

I’d very much like to know where you got your information on TD jakes and Benny Hinn.

Of course she could read this about TD Jakes, but she won’t and she could read this about Benny Hinn, but she won’t. And given Benny is having any video that exposes him removed she won’t believe anything said. Notice the pimps game works to perfection on these people, or I should say sheeple.

Also a “PIMP” is someone who arranges customers for prostitutes to have sex with and that’s their job.

These pimps, prostitute the Word of God and folks like her pay in hopes of having “total life prosperity”. Speaking of sex, I could mention the Paul Crouch scandal here, but why bother. She’d never believe it given she’s rejected all the other information already given.

I see you twist the scriptures to make people follow you

    Now that’s funny!

Is there biblical reference on what you say about the poor, widows, people w/no land and Mary and Joseph concerning their tithes?

Of course if she read the provided material she’d already know the answer to this. She claims all she needs is her Bible, but obviously she’s missed reading a good portion of it. She has read what the pimps told her to read on Sunday morning.

Please elaborate on how they have “poorly managed charity fronts”

Another example of giving them the information, but you can’t make them read it.

However, I’ve learned that because we withhold from God what is rightfully His THAT is why we stay in financial ruts.

Notice the misled statement from her here. What God wants is our heart, but she’s crying because I point out issues regarding money. Jesus said to give to the poor, while she’s crying that the poor should be the ones giving. One of her best examples of expressing twisted doctrine yet.

but when you take care of God first, He will take care of you.

Now I could explain here how tithes were paid on an annual basis of the Jews’ increase as in not what they needed to survive, but their excess and actual “increase”, but she’d never be able to make sense of it.

She talks about how she’s received money, but the world is full of rich heathens, so this prosperity message has no true foundation. And all the elderly who give and see no return in money or health are never spoken of.

then how will we feed the hungry with no money? How can we help the needy if we can’t even do for ourselves? How can we give to those in need when we have nothing to give?

Jesus and the apostles remained earthly broke, but preached to those who had and were able to convince them to convert and give, but this person feels she and the pimps must have the riches.

And with all that babble in her last comment, she still ignored how her statements fail to sync with the actual lives of Jesus and the apostles. Notice how she says a lot, but ignores any question that exposes her fraudulent doctrine.

OK, I’ve had enough of that nut named Songstress83.

Songstress83, I gave you plenty of time to make your case. While you ignored the information I provided you. You said yourself you don’t feel you need to read any of it. So I see no need to continue with you. I’m dumping you from my blog. You are lost and not ready to see the truth at this time, but I’m praying for you and others like you. If you had actually taken time to read some of the material provided I would continue with you, but given you refuse and at this point it is a repetitive cycle of comments, it’s time for you to go.

This woman claims knowledge of how tithing was done and was used, but continues to display that she never read more than the pimps told her to read. And she refuses to read anything provided.

  24. IndependentConservative Says:

I need to also mention, that it is because of those who are misled in scripture and allow themselves to continue to be misled, that even in our time widows’ homes are devoured. These are the people who tell the poor “sow the hard thing” and have a fully wrong view of the widows mite story and will encourage the widow to give those last 2 mites, because the pimps have taught them wrong and they are too ignorant to learn otherwise.

  25. maval Says:

  26. IndependentConservative Says:

maval – You are accepting the teachings of someone who plays to desires for material wealth. Someone who could never reconcile her false doctrine with the actual lives of Jesus and the apostles. But what you will find when you are old and failing in health is the same thing others who are old and giving to TBN in hopes of prosperity discover. Is that we are rich in spirit and the talk of “total prosperity” is a lie.

The money Songstress83 received is the work of her family’s own hand or the good will of others. Because Songstress83 wanted to have money, but the riches of the spirit are better and greater.
Luke 6:20-26 (New King James Version)

    20) Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:

    “ Blessed are you poor,
For yours is the kingdom of God.

    21) Blessed are you who hunger now,
    For you shall be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now,
    For you shall laugh.

    22) Blessed are you when men hate you,
    And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake.

    23) Rejoice in that day and leap for joy!
For indeed your reward is great in heaven,
For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets.

    24) “ But woe to you who are rich,
For you have received your consolation.

    25) Woe to you who are full,
    For you shall hunger.
Woe to you who laugh now,
For you shall mourn and weep.

    26) Woe to you when all men speak well of you,
For so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Those are the words of Christ. Notice who Jesus said is blessed and what they will receive. He did not say he’ll give the poor earthy riches and good physical health. He said theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. And to the rich he gave a warning. So those who desire this “prosperity doctrine” run counter to Jesus and desire mammon, which makes mammon their master.

Pullings and others have twisted scripture to enrich themselves and they are taking others DOWN with them. They are not people of God, but followers of mammon.

If we are not under the letter, than the letter of this invented system of money collection called tithing is wrong. Giving because someone says you must in order to come out of poverty is a total lie.

I have no need to tell stories of actual people who keep giving these pimps money and die broke, but I’m sure you know plenty of folks doing it. I’ve seen folks chasing around Benny Hinn and these others and thinking this total prosperity thing is true. I also stood over their graves once they died.

  27. maval Says:

i wont waste my time with people like u who r soooooo!!! dumb to think that the people of God can spread his word for free and go all over the world preaching for free

songstress made me really understand more about the REAL… people of God!!!!!!

  28. IndependentConservative Says:

Thank God the apostle Paul took a different route.

1 Corinthians 9:18 (New King James Version)

    18) What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.

Those who labor in the Gospel can receive money, but what you’re endorsing is total abuse by false teachers. They fully abuse their authority and have fooled some into supporting such abuse.

You can have those false teachers, I’ll take the broke and homeless work of Jesus and the apostles. As the apostle Paul wrote:

1 Corinthians 4:10-16 (New King James Version)

    10) We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!

    11) To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless.

    12) And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;

    13) being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

    14) I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you.

    15) For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

    16) Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

And it was a far more effective ministry!

  29. maval Says:

and u have the nerve!!!! to call them pimps u r in trouble with God!!!!! touch NOT his anointing an do his prophets no harm!!! You said u know the word i really wonder

  30. IndependentConservative Says:

I am the “anointed”, so I’m not worried one bit about what I say regarding those pimps. I’m doing what the anointed SHOULD BE DOING WHEN THE FAITH IS ABUSED BY FALSE TEACHERS. It is you who are fooled by them that I worry and pray for.

That Old Testament “touch not” scripture was regarding physical TOUCHING and HARM and we know if I actually touched them that our system of laws in this country would protect them as it does everyone else.

Today the “anointed” are all who are saved. And the physical protections as you can see from the lives and murder of the apostles is no longer the same. Your soul is protected, while your physical body is promised persecution.

You are unable to discern the physical protection and physical rewards of the old covenant from the spiritual protection and spiritual rewards of the new covenant. Like the Jews, you want a Christ that will give you physical bliss and you scorn all who explain how things work in the spirit. Maybe you’ll figure it out when you are old, sick and sending your last $30 to TBN. But I certainly pray it happens before then, because too many have had to learn that hard way.

Honestly though, I pray for you to mature in the spirit.

maval, you’ve had your time to say what you wanted, goodbye, you too are now given the boot from this blog.

  31. setfreeee Says:

You know what, IC? Like you, I’ve seen/heard/read the same nonsense from ignorant Christians. In fact, I was one for over 10 years.

I sat under a prosperity preacher and hardly ever cracked my Bible open. One day, something made me open it and study up on the tithe, and my eyes were opened. I could not believe the truth had been staring me in the face the whole time and I was too stupid to see it.

Songstress will get it one day. You have planted a seed here, and fortunately for her, God will water it and make it plain to her soon enough.

Keep doing what you’re doing. I couldn’t help but laugh at both of your posts, because I had a very similar discussion with some people on a website soon after I learned the truth. Even when confronted with scripture, when you’re in deception, the truth looks like lies.

Anyway, you’re right about Medina. She’s pretty on the outside, but that means nothing. What we Christians have to realize is that looking pretty, being rich, being famous, etc, are all things that ANYONE can attain. The world has all of that on a much larger scale than the church, so how in the world (pun intended) can we measure our spirituality on those things? The ONLY difference between us and the world is Jesus.

    Isn’t that an amazing concept?

Just seeing the trickery live and in color makes me skin crawl. It’s like, WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO WITH JESUS? It’s humanism, plain and simple. And you know, I could swallow it if they kept it separate. They can do their self-help, business seminars, bookselling, life coaching, spiritual lottery (tithing), etc, all they want. But keep it separate from God’s Word. Then, at least people could see it for what it is and make an educated choice about Whom they will serve.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. Just wanted you to know I agree with you!!!

  32. IndependentConservative Says:

Thank you for stopping by setfreeee.

I’m glad you see what I’m feeling. Personally, I grew up under the Pentecostal Holiness, roll on the fool, speak in tongues or you ain’t spirit filled, repent after every 5 steps taken, pay tithes (and it better be off the gross income plus an offering) or you’re disobedient, the pastor’s actions are beyond question doctrine. I eventually left because I realized all the tongue talking and interpretations were so far from scripture. Not to mention the time a lady died in the church and the pastor told people not to tell it happened, because he was embarrassed that he/they could not raise the dead 😀 .

When I left, I had removed myself from something that was false, but still had much false doctrine within me. So later in life I ended up at Eddie Long’s club spot for 7 years. He sounded dynamic. He made up stuff that emotionally felt good although it was not in the Bible. He could touch people and they fell over. It all LOOKED so good. And he was telling how I could be rich. It was the ultimate emotional satisfaction.

I remember I’d be in the barbershops defending Eddie Long like he was Elijah. The stuff I get here is plenty of what I said myself. Which is why those who still don’t understand and speak against my efforts are so transparent to me. Because I was once them.

I recall once I gave up on defending the pimp, but still was there, I resigned myself to saying “well at least I know what my pastor’s problem is, none of them are perfect.” Then I had the 1 Timothy 6 dilemma, because Paul said to FLEE such false doctrine. Then I realized I might not find perfect, but I better get the heck outta there. Once out I was able to better discern how dangerous it was to even try and remain there. Kind of like a former drug addict that can’t beleive they tried only doing the drugs part time.

Anyway, over time I now know how dangerous these pimps really are. They are not even preaching the Gospel of Jesus, because Jesus asked us to give to the poor, while they ask the poor to give to them. They’ve totally turned the ministry to the poor on its head. And I know about their minuscule efforts to supposedly help people in need of help, because I was part of it and saw how little was devoted to such efforts. While the building accommodations (and the pastor’s own lifestyle) remained lavish. One minister who was running benevolence for a while at New Birth (Eddie Long’s club) told of how he was scolded for giving away too much money to people (to Christians, we’re not talking about unsaved folks) who had not paid tithes and needed financial help. Basically, denying them was the church’s way of fulfilling the Malachi 3 curse. Those who could not consistently pay tithes were deemed bad stewards. While back when tithes were actually paid by the Jews, the poor were not only exempt from paying, but the recipients of some of the tithe.

I try and work with folks who still don’t understand, but my time does have its limits and I have to let them go at some point and pray they learn in time. I didn’t get it when the first few people tried to help me either. Now one of the guys who I used to speak against is one of my friends, because he loved me enough as a brother to tell me the truth.

I have one question that has dropped in my spirit.
If Medina Pullings was in a car accident and you were a passerby, and you seen that the gas was leaking and there may be a potential explosion, would you pull her out and help save her life?

I am not getting ready to recite scripture after scripture after scripture- you know the word and so do I. I am using an analogy as Jesus often did.
The same way we would help save a life (if your a Christian) is the same way people need to view souls. (let’s reach them so their soul won’t be lost in a burning fire- if you can’t reach them pray to God his hands our bigger.) Their life isn’t as important as their soul. Medina is a women of God- she may be in sin- but as her sister or brother we are pray for their soul. We can go ON and ON and ON about Christians in the world not living right- but I will not tear them down- Be careful what you say- God has already gave you a warning.

She is not a sister in sin. She is far worse. She is a false teacher. A viper and a deceiver. The apostle Paul did not teach that we should run and try and “help” such, but to FLEE from them, see 1 Timothy 6. She is not someone who has not heard the Gospel truth. She took the truth, twisted it into a lie and profits from it.

All these pimps have been called out time after time and corrected, but they continually reject sound doctrine.

God gave me a warning about the pimps and I’m spreading it to others. I’m not tearing down a “sister”, I’m exposing a pimp who robs the church.

It’s interesting how exposing one Black Lady Pimp draws more defenders than all others that are exposed.

One more thing- I have to let you know that alot of what you say is truth, the word speaks like a two edged sword, but without love we have nothing. I do not feel the love here. You are so dynamic and could be a key instrument in leading people out of bondage- but without love – this whole website is useless.

  36. amberslove Says:

We have to have the love of Jesus- and He is compassionate- can you honestly say that if Jesus was with you in the same room and said lets go witness and win souls that He would have taken this approach. You are so anointed- I feel it all in my spirit…but this is wrong..

  37. amberslove Says:

Yes flee from them, not go and tear them down.

  38. IndependentConservative Says:

Jesus called them vipers too. If I didn’t love folks lost to these pimps I’d say nothing at all. I love the pimp enough to call them what they are.

You don’t know that people are being helped, but they are.

  39. amberslove Says:

ok- I receive that. Also, I am not a fan of Pullings. I don’t know much about her. I will pray for her though. You stay encouraged in the Lord and I love you, ok. God Bless

  40. IndependentConservative Says:

Sorry for implying you were an advocate of her false teaching.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Please, via whatever means you deem appropriate continue working to help those who are lost in false teaching to see the truth.
