We Serve a Risen Savior!

by @ 1:10 am. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

Hallelujah! Jesus Christ, The Righteous Son of God is our Risen Savior!

He is the one, who in THE BEGINNING was WITH God and WAS God, as described in John chapter 1.

He is the one who the prophet Isaiah foretold would be called:

Isaiah 9:6 (New King James Version)

6) For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

He always was One with the Father and with the Holy Spirit complete the Trinity Christians always speak of. One God of 3 entities working in harmony. Some people understand a married couple is 2 that are now 1, but fail to comprehend how 3 (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) can be one God. Some understand how their 2 arms are part of one body, but fail to understand how 3 (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) can be one.

Jesus, although One with God the Father was lowered, out of God’s love for us.

Hebrews 2:9 (New King James Version)

9) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

And so for what Jesus did on our behalf, he was again placed above those angles he was briefly placed below for us.

Hebrews 1:1-4 (New King James Version)

1) God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

2) has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

3) who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

4) having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

And God the Father fully recognizes God the Son.

Hebrews 1:8 (New King James Version)

8 ) But to the Son He says:

“ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit are eternal and the One True God. None were before God. Jesus was not merely some high ranking angle like Satan once was. He was and is God, one with the Father and one with the sent comforter that is the Holy Spirit. Christ came down from glory for us and returned again. This mystery eludes so many. Don’t let it elude you. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and live for him. Seek out a church in your area to worship with and let the pastor know you desire to live for Jesus Christ.
