GPS Data Proves British Sailors Were in Iraqi Waters. Iran Caught Fudging Data!

I’ve been waiting for this and was holding back from saying a word till it came out.

UK delivers ‘proof’ sailors in Iraqi waters

Earlier today the Ministry of Defence (MoD) released evidence showing HMS Cornwall and the 15 sailors were in Iraqi waters at the time of the incident.

Downing Street said satellite images and GPS data showing the personnel were 1.7 nautical miles into Iraqi waters were “difficult to dispute”.

At a briefing, vice admiral Charles Style explained the Iranians gave two conflicting sets of data, the first placing the sailors in Iraqi waters. When this was pointed out to Iran they returned with a second set of “correct” data showing them in Iranian waters.

The sailors were “ambushed” while going about their legitimate business and their detention was “unjustified and wrong”, he said.

Notice that the Iranian data agreed with the British GPS data (although at a slightly different position), that the sailors were in Iraqi waters and then all of a sudden they came up with corrected data  . CNN has an image of all the reported positions and you can see how the Iranians changed their coordinates. It’s obvious the Iranians are full of it and hoping everybody forgets they are trying to build a nuke!

There have questions asked about mounting a “rescue”. Let’s face it, that’s never going to work. Either the Brits are going to be able to press Iran to release the sailors they have KIDNAPPED, or the British will have to opt for all out war with Iran. And you won’t hear me complain if the Brits decide to help Iran see first hand what a working nuke looks like.
