Given here in America most people calling themselves “psychics” claim they have a gift from God, it makes them false prophets by definition. Even if they don’t attribute the mess they spew to God, they all make things up for financial gain. James Randi is a skeptic, that has exposed more psychics and false prophets than probably even he can remember. He’s not a Christian, but he sure has helped many a Christian see through the smoke some so-called Christians blow from the pulpit. So we have to respect the man’s efforts, while we know his skepticism regarding Jesus is misplaced. We just have to pray for him regarding that and hope one day he accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Personally, I keep an eye on Randi’s work continually, because he exposes frauds. He has a $1 Million Dollars waiting, for whoever can prove to him that they have or they can access some form of paranormal powers. I mean, if somebody like Benny Hinn could actually say a prayer and you be immediately healed, Benny could collect an extra $1 Million for his ministry and probably cause a slew of skeptics to accept Christ at the same time. The greatest power of Christ is in healing of the soul from sin and that is not something that hucksters like Benny Hinn truly represent. This is why James Randi will always have plenty of work for himself. Randi helped to shut down Peter Popoff once upon a time, but trickster Popoff is back up to his old tricks.

Psychics have been taking talk TV by storm and it seems that folks like Randi are the ones leading the charge against it. Oprah Winfrey is having them on her show from time to time and standing by them. Oprah is against someone saying Jesus is the true way to salvation, but seems to be A-OK with the psychics. We’ll see where those psychics are when Oprah has to account for her soul at judgment. Oprah has gone so far to defend the psychics, that she has double crossed James Randi and another skeptic that appeared on her show. Randi has the details on his web site. (Be sure to read that.) And unfortunately (no pun intended), things are not going well at Oprah’s new school in South Africa.

One of the big names in the psychic game is Sylvia Browne. She’s been running from Randi for so long, after agreeing to take his challenge, that Randi keeps track of how long she’s been running from him and lists MANY of her claims, that have brought nothing but grief to desperate families.

Sylvia is a big name on the Montel Williams Show. He is even having her on Wednesday of this week! One of Montel’s fellow retired military officers has an open letter to Montel, that is a good read. The letter is at a site dedicated to exposing Browne for the fraud that she is. I think Sylvia Browne and Benny Hinn should do tours together .

Randi has found yet another bogus reading from Browne, that has caused yet another family major grief. And the shenanigans took place right on Montel Williams’ show!

People know this, Jesus died and was resurrected so that you could have access to the Father, without the use of these so-called mediums and psychics. Jesus Christ, The Righteous Son of God is your intercessor. Cast your cares ON HIM and accept that God is Sovereign! Pray that Jesus will save your soul from sin. Believe that he was born of a virgin, died for your sins and resurrected on the 3rd day as he said he would be. A feat never pulled off by anyone else. Trust in Jesus, that his plan is best for your life. Accept what you know and trust God regarding what you do not know. Don’t allow those who attempt to pimp God, to allow you to be their source of wealth.
