A jet for the sake of the Gospel or for the sake of vacations? You should already know the answer. But check out the video below anyway.
Isn’t it interesting how Jesus borrowed a donkey when he needed a ride, but Copeland requested money so he could own a jet? I know some of you folks like to claim Christianity and assert that it means you should have earthly riches, but you’re not following the example of Jesus or the apostles.
And it’s a shame people feel they should send Copeland money in exchange for a healing. This is how the prosperity gospel dupes people! Because following Christ is not about earthly gain. And although Christ has the power to heal, it does not mean he intends for us all to have earthly healing. The greatest healing is in the soul, that Jesus saves from sin, from death and from the spiritual grave. Regarding the physical, a great apostle learned that infirmities are sometimes the way God actually increases within us.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (New King James Version)

Hey, I have loved ones that suffer infirmities just like many of you reading this. But I don’t go sending people like Copeland money, thinking that I can buy their healing in the name of Jesus. I pray God gives them comfort and realize his will is beyond my own understanding. Don’t let your suffering loved ones send nuts like Copeland and Benny Hinn money. Jesus while on earth in the flesh healed a lot of people of physical issues, however there is never a record of someone paying him so they would receive a healing. We can’t buy God and we can’t buy what we want from God. We must simply remain humble to him and pray that his will be done.

You know, this is how God works. I saw this on Kenneth Copeland yesterday on http://cultnews.com when I was looking into Atlanta’s new “African American Congressman” Hank Johnson (who is in the same power - hungry Buddhist sect as Tina Turner). I was going to put it on my website, but chickened out, I guess because I still have a soft spot for Copeland. But I come to your site and here it is on yours! So, I guess I will go ahead and go do God’s work and put it on mine too!

There are so many, I just touched on that one for today, but I can’t blog about them all because there are so many.
Did you know that Peter Popoff is back? Offering some type of bogus holy water.
Recently I also saw this foolishness from the mouth of TD Jakes, that I’m probably going to mention in a post at some point.
It’s important for all of us who know the truth to expose these liars. We must ensure that everyone knows that THEY are not US. We can’t let people associate their false doctrines with our efforts.

Yeah, Bill Keller mentioned in his daily devotional that Peter Popoff is back; I put it on my site as http://healtheland.wordpress.com/2007/03/06/how-lost-and-confused-this-world-really-is/
It talks about how Jim Bakker and Robert Tilton are back at it again too.
As far as TD Jakes goes, this excellent website http://christianresearchnetwork.com/ is fighting a losing battle to try to get preachers to stop associating with anti - Trinitarian TD Jakes, and they are also hard on the tracks of Rick Warren, and some of the other bad “church” trends like “seeker churches”, “emerging churches”, and all of these attempts to merge other religions into Christianity. I really do think that the church is under the biggest siege since the gnosticism days. Oh yeah, I fully intend to appropriate your Iraq War versus abortion thing on one of my websites, I just have not figured out which one or how just yet!

Have you EVER heard Kenneth Copeland ask specifically for money FOR A JET? He is one of the softest on asking for offerings. Maybe you could consider being a little less judgemental. What is your opposition to their ministry? Do you watch the Copelands? Do you know their ministry? Or are you just trying to bash ALL tv ministries? I am curious as I have never heard Copeland ask people for a jet or money for a jet. Please advise. Thank you!

Obviously you didn’t know.
Maybe you should read this and see the special web page they setup for it here.
The “Elite CX Team Vision” was all about money for the jet and people giving to it so that they would have “no lack”.
2 Corinthians 2:17
Copeland is a FALSE teacher, who has even twisted the resurrection of Christ. Jesus was not dead as a sinner. Jesus is the righteous Son of God who sacrificed himself so that WE could be born again.

IC,
I was up last night, thinking about the time in 2005, I was hospitalized for a leaking valve, which causes irregular heartbeats. The name is MVP. The doctor says it is not life threatening. Then I read 2Cor12:7-10 as I was reading about Copeland’s jet. Though I admit it is hard, I have to be at peace with it and as you stated above, real healing is in the soul.

After more study, I’ve found that in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 Paul was actually talking about a person when he uses the word “thorn”. It was not a thorn in his own flesh, but a thorn in the flesh as in a person who came against him and his efforts to minister the Gospel. Paul was speaking in terms that are also used in scripture such as Numbers 33:55.
But still we learn of God’s grace when we have physical infirmities, because we have a greater hope for eternal life.
Another scripture to consider is 1 Timothy 5:23. Would anyone dare say that Timothy lacked faith? Notice Paul gave him a prescription of wine for his stomach’s sake and frequent infirmities. Paul didn’t tell Timothy to send him a “love offering” of money and he didn’t tell Timothy that Timothy lacked faith.
We sometimes encounter things that the Lord does not will that they be healed in the flesh. But our new bodies when we meet the Lord will not have these issues and that’s the real meaning of Isaiah 53.
I and many I know have had cases where the Lord willed a healing that defied doctors’ expectations, but these things come as the Lord wills and we give Him praise in all things that His will be done.

Take a look at the letter trail - what questions were asked, what answers were given, what was disclosed.

Lynn, does any of this heresy from the mouth of Kenneth Copeland concern you at all?
We’ve been following along with what he’s up to and he’s not an honorable fellow.
