The cult known at the Jehovah’s Witnesses is out and about trying to make you think they are Christians. They are not. They twist the terms of the Christian faith. (Hat tip to Heal The Land With Spiritual Warfare for that 2nd link.)

When they come to your door, be prepared. Like the Mormons, they don’t believe there is a Trinity. A triune God, that is 3 working in concert as one God. Of course there are plenty of resources telling the truth about the Trinity. Be sure to share this truth and others about the Christian faith with those who visit your house. It might be the only opportunity to give them the real truth and save them from a cult.

Another example of their twisted doctrine, is that while many Christian resources about the Jehovah’s Witnesses note that JWs don’t believe in the resurrection, the person coming to your door might tell you that they do. This is because the Jehovah’s Witnesses totally twist what the resurrection really is. See the entry for “Materialization (of Jesus)” in that twisted list of terms. Their faith is not our faith.

Help the lost to know the truth. When one of these lost souls comes to your home, if you feel prepared then don’t keep your door shut. Give them the truth. They will deny all that you show them and show you their own twists on scripture by mangling verses to try and make their point, but give it to them anyway. They need somebody to tell them they are being misled and they are isolated from engaging people outside of their group at all other times. So them coming to your door might be the only chance for them to find a way out of that cult through a true understanding of Jesus Christ.

If you really intend to engage them in deep Biblical battle, know that they play on terms continually. They twists them and sometime lead you to think they believe as you do when they do not. When they realize you are not buying it, they will cite verses without giving the full context. Of course they will make excuses about what you show them. They seem to prefer the English Standard Version of the Bible. Nothing wrong with that version of the Word in my book, but they prefer it for their effort to twist terms. If you ensure that you can speak effectively to that particular translation of the Word you’ll really tie them in knots, but they’ll never let you know it. Just the same, you have to get them to start seeing their organization is misleading them and pray God works on them towards full deliverance to The Truth.

Prepare yourself, to defend what you believe and engage in dialog, to show the truth to the lost. I figure if I can’t show it to someone coming to my doorstep, I’ll never be able to reach out to the rest of the world.

When someone who has been in the US Senate for almost a full 15 years gets caught in some mess like this you’d expect far more coverage. But search Google News and you’ll see that as of now there are only 4 results. 3 of those results are Blogs, Stop the ACLU, Hot Air and Jawa Report (first listed blog to post about this). The other is World Net Daily’s coverage. The source article came from a small Left wing outfit, that does not even register with Google’s news service. When I saw Jawa picked this up last night I figured the whole world would be talking about it today, but that’s not the case. So I’ve got to help get this one out.

What am I talking about? I’m talking about what could be the greatest scandal to rock a US Senator in a long time. It is possible, that Democratic US Senator Dianne (take your guns and let mothers kill babies) Feinstein was using her power in MILCON (Senate’s Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee), to funnel contract deals to her husband AND ignoring troops in need of better medical care.

She should be GONE (if this is true, as in out of politics and in prison), but nobody (in the MSM or Congress) is saying a word. Michael Savage was sent the article by someone connected with the source publication and it seems if not for him almost nobody would know much at all about this. (Now we’ll have to hear Savage brag again about how he got the scoop if/when this does break in the MSM .)

It is a lie that Al Gore said is a moral, ethical and spiritual issue. That makes it a cult by definition! On 3/21/2007, before a Senate committee, Gore was asked by Republican Senator James Inhofe if he felt the issue of global warming is a moral, ethical and spiritual issue and Gore responded “yes”. I watched that fool spin lies for hours, while Senator Inhofe offered the best analysis of Gore’s lies. Inhofe asked Gore if he would pledge to stop emitting more of these greenhouse gasses at his own homes than the average home owner. Gore did not formerly agree to that pledge and spun out of it, by claiming he lives a carbon neutral life. Gore spoke of how he purchases “green energy” for his home. He did not note, that he didn’t do that TILL CONSERVATIVES CALLED HIM A HYPOCRITE FOR NOT SIGNING UP FOR THE PROGRAM IN TN THAT WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE. It’s a show piece front!

Senator Kit Bond called Gore on the carpet that day, because Gore’s proposed changes would adversely impact the poor the most. We see what the cult followers have done to 8 Texas towns and overseas.

Senator Johnny Isakson asked Gore if he felt nuclear energy might be a good option. Gore responded by saying that it would be a “small part” of the solution to his contrived lie. Remember this video, where it is noted that those who shun nuclear energy are total hypocrites? They play on fears of nuclear waste, when nuclear power is much cleaner and cheaper than all other options in terms of combined overall benefit. Because we are talking about clean cheap power for an entire nation. Nations like France already use mostly nuclear energy. Funny how Liberals don’t wish to be like the French on this one. Gore claimed he does not like nuclear power plants because they only come in “one size” that is “extra large”. Well this idiot Gore neglects that they can power a far greater area, with a smaller overall footprint than his proposals. And it’s the cheapest option. Hey, that’s why I own stock in a company involved in the nuclear industry!

Senator Larry Craig gave Gore several verbal kicks in the hind quarters, for rejecting nuclear energy and during his time as VP “killing” the nuclear industry. Gore claimed he did not know what Craig was talking about. This article notes Craig’s view of Gore.

Senator Lamar Alexander pointed out to Gore that nuclear energy is the cleaner and cheaper option, despite any nuclear waste issues. Gore could only respond that he’d like to see venture capital funding and new research provide a better solution. I thought it was Gore who said we just can’t wait to start making some changes ?

Al Gore spins fear and admits it is a “spiritual” issue for him. While he refuses to accept the option that would best solve his own invented problem. Not to mention being able to power more homes for less, even if we don’t consider CO2 emissions.

In the mean time, the poor suffer.

But there is a bit of a silver lining to this whole mess. Because while the global warming cultists have ended plans for 8 coal plants, that increases the likelihood of more nuclear power plants.

I’ve been waiting for this and was holding back from saying a word till it came out.

UK delivers ‘proof’ sailors in Iraqi waters … Earlier today the Ministry of Defence (MoD) released evidence showing HMS Cornwall and the 15 sailors were in Iraqi waters at the time of the incident. Downing Street said satellite images and GPS data showing the personnel were 1.7 nautical miles into Iraqi waters were “difficult to dispute”. At a briefing, vice admiral Charles Style explained the Iranians gave two conflicting sets of data, the first placing the sailors in Iraqi waters. When this was pointed out to Iran they returned with a second set of “correct” data showing them in Iranian waters. The sailors were “ambushed” while going about their legitimate business and their detention was “unjustified and wrong”, he said. …

Notice that the Iranian data agreed with the British GPS data (although at a slightly different position), that the sailors were in Iraqi waters and then all of a sudden they came up with corrected data . CNN has an image of all the reported positions and you can see how the Iranians changed their coordinates. It’s obvious the Iranians are full of it and hoping everybody forgets they are trying to build a nuke!

There have questions asked about mounting a “rescue”. Let’s face it, that’s never going to work. Either the Brits are going to be able to press Iran to release the sailors they have KIDNAPPED, or the British will have to opt for all out war with Iran. And you won’t hear me complain if the Brits decide to help Iran see first hand what a working nuke looks like.

Having looked into them both cults, I was thinking what has been fully written out at this site. That Muslims and Mormons have far more in common than they probably know.

While Muslims claims Christ was a Muslim and Mormons claim that they are Christians, neither realizes both claims are false, but they each have more in common with each other than the Christ they claim to be their own.

I say those Imams can’t be trusted and I’m glad Congress for the most part is in agreement. Hot Air has the media report and more commentary. The roll call vote of 304-121 shows that MOST DEMOCRATS VOTED AGAINST THE MOTION AND ONLY DEMOCRATS VOTED AGAINST IT.

Now you know who is on your side when you fly. Take a look at all the typical Liberal Democrats who voted “NO”.

Many sites now reference the video, but their links to the video no longer work. The copy of the video at that link is no longer available. The reason for that I do not know, but I was able to find another copy of the video that is still working. So view in full while you still can. The Great Global Warming Swindle

The bottom line, is that it’s pretty silly to blame the little people of earth and CO2, when the big fire ball called the sun is proving to be a far more reliable measure of climate change. But the sun does not take political sides, so Leftists like Al Gore can’t attack it and advance their political agenda.

And any of you folks who claim to care much about Africa, you’re really going to realize the Leftists don’t care about the 3rd world as much as they might have led you to believe they do.

Here’s one that you would never hear much about if not for the existence of the blogosphere. And being a Christian who as I’ve mentioned before spent many of my years in grade school surrounded by mostly Jews (including all the teachers and school administrators), I have to say plenty of Christians and Jews do get along. And as I’ve mentioned before, I never hesitated to tell them about Jesus and all we did was talk. However, it seems that in Israel, some Jews who now follow Jesus are facing serious persecution. Given the persecution Jews have faced and the friendship they’ve received from Christians it’s sad to see it happening, but sadly it continues to happen. And while attacks against Christians are not “legal”, there are some in Israel who are attempting to make Christian missionary work illegal there. In Acts 17 among many other parts of the Bible, we can see that efforts to minister to Jews have always had mixed results. Some accept Jesus, others do not and on the other extreme some attempt to attack Christians just for sharing the message of Jesus. I can only pray that any extremists that wish to do Christians harm are held back and no laws are passed to outlaw Christian evangelism. Even if someone does not agree with us, we should be allowed to speak freely about our beliefs. I abhor when Christians attempt to attack Jews and likewise I must speak in defense of my own Christian brothers and sisters when they are attacked.

The United Arab Emirates is out to get yet another American company that helps provide our defense. Oh, but the government says it’s A-OK…

They said the proposed DAE purchase of Landmark Aviation and Standard Aero Holdings Inc. would not be deemed a security threat. … DEA, a $15 billion aerospace conglomerate, has been negotiating with the Washington-based Carlyle Group for the acquisition of Landmark and Standard Aero. Executives said the deal could be worth close to $2 billion. Landmark owns 33 business aircraft terminals in Canada and the United States. Standard Aero has only repair facilities. Landmark maintains contracts with the U.S. Air Force and its employees undergo security checks. …

I think every deal like this is a security problem, but it seems the UAE may soon own yet another company that is supposed to help keep America secure.
