When I was young I learned about the historical roots of Halloween and decided at that point I no longer wished to participate. It seems one young man found a different way to express his displeasure with the pagan holiday known as Halloween and it was not well received.

Once upon a time in America, churches were the builders of schools and the government would even provide some of the funds for children to attend those schools. The schools were built to help educate children to do things like read the Bible and prayer was done regularly. Now we see even a kid dressing up as Jesus on Halloween gets rejected. Satan is able to gleefully watch children parade and pretend to be forces of evil, while any resemblance of Jesus is rejected. Books about a boy going to a school of witchcraft are featured, while the Bible is often now rejected in public schools. America is losing it’s focus on God and when you turn from God there is literally hell to pay.
Dennis over at Fire & Hammer has more commentary about this mess.
Of course the good folks at the Alliance Defense Fund are all over this case.
A portion of a video titled The Signs and Wonders Movement Exposed has been posted to YouTube and just the short clip exposes at lot.
An analysis of Benny Hinn’s partner letters over several months showed an interesting use and lack of use of certain terms.
Notice the focus is not on Jesus Christ, but getting money and playing to people’s flesh regarding finances.
The makers of the documentary had a searching unbeliever write some of the major players in the Lies and Games movement, to ask how they might be saved. (The announcer says “how to become a Christian”.)
Here are the results:
Only one ministry in the UK that was contacted gave a response that would really help someone who was trying to learn about salvation.
I’ve personally noticed that some supposedly Christian political petition efforts are ultimately games to obtain personal information, to send petition signers appeals for MONEY.
If you’re really wondering what Salvation (being a Christian) is all about, I think previous posts I wrote regarding why Jesus died for all of our sins and his resurrection help to explain it.
We who claim the faith must defend the gospel from the vipers who wish to deceive people. We must show that we are not the vipers and the vipers like those mentioned above are not us. To ensure people are lead to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and not that of a deceiver.
Well I told you they were not poor and undereducated.

Hat tip Michael Savage.
Let’s face it, many of us voted for Bush because he was the best of a sad lot and we didn’t want to risk seeing a man who should probably be treated as a war criminal (John Kerry) becoming Commander-in-Chief. I voted for Bush in 2004 and I stand by my vote with no regrets. Still the man has been a total disappointment on things like the border and if Presidents could still run for a 3rd term, I’d probably not vote for Bush and find another candidate to the right of Bush to vote for. Even if that candidate didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning I’d vote for them, just because there comes a time when you have to move on. Even when you know you’ll take a loss. In my book Bush is a stone’s throw away from us Conservatives wanting him impeached, never mind if he could run for a 3rd term.
So hearing who Bush’s people want to see become our next President is an anti-endorsement for that candidate in my eyes. Reader Eric has discovered who team Bush want to see win in 2008. They are all pulling for Mitt Romney. And that’s one more major reason why I won’t support him. I don’t want to see a flip-flopping politician with team Bush under his wings, running the same games we’ve already seen run. Bush is working on a North American Union with Mexico and I’m sure Romney would keep the borders open no matter what he says. And when it comes to the issue of abortion, Romney has a much longer history of being with the pro-death crowd than the pro-life crowd. Remember Harriet Miers? Her short history of Conservative views in her political efforts was a major reason why we knew she was not right for the highest court in the land. Well Mitt Romney has an even shorter history than her when it comes to his claims of being pro-life.
During his 2002 Massachusetts gubernatorial campaign, Romney even opposed a mandatory 24-hour waiting period for abortions. He assured voters he would maintain pro-death statutes by saying:
My position has been the same throughout my political career and it goes back to the days of 1970.
That video is part of a report I found at Hot Air. Allahpundit, the honest man that he is, has found that Romney flipped to being pro-life just as rumors of his Presidential run started.
…
. Until I saw this, I?d assumed he made the switch sometime in the late 90s or early 00s. Nuh uh; a little googling reveals that he didn?t embrace the social con within until 2005 or so, two years after he became governor and, coincidentally, around the time the murmurs started about him running for president.
…
Here’s more on team Bush’s endorsement of Romney.
Bush Camp Supports Romney

Do you want to see old pictures of another male Presidential candidate in a cheerleading uniform? I don’t know about you, but one was enough! And do you want to hear Liberals crying a vote for Romney is a vote for Bush? It’s like they’d still be able to toss out all their Bush-hate slogans with some level of accuracy. I want Liberals to hate a Presidential candidate because he’s Conservative, not because he satisfies their lust to hate Bush.
The bottom line is that Romney has a shorter record of true Conservative stances than even the woman who Conservatives jumped out of the woodwork to oppose. If (other) Conservatives were consistent, all would oppose Romney.

As far as major finds in how badly the case of former US Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean was not only messed up, but intentionally tipped towards their conviction, legal experts say this is the biggest! The defense says that a document from the Department of Homeland Security confirms, that 2 supervisors were on the scene the day an illegal immigrant drug smuggler claims he was shot in the butt. The defense is just finding out about this document, that US Attorney Johnny Sutton’s office had and did not reveal to them during the trail. This was all reported on CNN show Lou Dobbs Tonight last night. I’ve YouTubed the video and you can watch it below.
Ramos and Compean said they never filed a report because supervisors were there. Sutton claimed otherwise in court. Their version of the story has now been verified and once again we see another obvious lie from the mouth of Johnny Sutton.
Jeffrey Toobin, CNN Senior Legal Analyst says this news is potentially major, as opposed to other news he does not feel is as impacting to changing the outcome of the case. Toobin says this moves things into a “new category”, that may cause a new trial. Lou Dobbs says that Johnny Sutton “lied” when he said he had no choice but to offer immunity. And World Net Daily has found more information about illegal alien drug smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila still running dope into our country, after being given medical treatment at US taxpayer expense. This offense was gagged by the judge and the family of Ramos and Compean still refuse to even talk about it, for fear that Johnny Sutton will come after them.
We need and I mean NEED a full Congressional investigation of this entire case right now. We also need to know who in our government knew what, when and what orders they gave to Johnny Sutton and/or the judge. We need to know every single detail related to President George W. Bush involving this matter. It’s time to stop reading and start writing your congresspeople. We now have more than enough information to not simply be suspicious about this case, we know these men were setup!
