Ibrahim Ahmed, a Sunni Muslim from Somalia, who allegedly attempted to murder two Christian college students he picked up from a bar after a heated religious debate. Violated yet another law, when posing as a cab driver last Sunday morning. Ahmed’s cab driver’s permit had already been suspended, for his high speed chase in November 2006. Also, another cab company not related to the case, Yellow Cab says they fired him then. Ahmed was using a van from United Cab company, they also claim they fired him back in November after that high speed chase with police.

It has also been discovered, that Ahmed must have been attempting to be rehired by United Cab. (Or some mix-up was made in reports that claim United Cab fired him before.) Owners at United Cab say Ahmed was recently seeking a job with them, but had not given one because he had not been check out. Management at United Cab says the cab was taken without authorization and a police report has been filed. Which means Ahmed was driving a stolen cab, with stolen tags on a suspended permit. Robert Spencer has written a good article, about how the news media seems to avoid the fact that Islamic beliefs probably did play a role in Ahmed’s actions. He also mentions how the media treated the Utah mall shootings allegedly by Sulejman Talovic in a similar fashion. We’ve had the 9/11 terrorist attacks, bombings and videos all telling us Islamists wish to kill us. We infidels who reject Islam, especially if we accurately identify it as a cult, point out the murderous past of Muhammad and juxtapose that with the truly peaceful earthly life of Jesus Christ.

Yesterday Debbie Schlussel mentioned that when she rides with Muslim cabbies, she feels a need to hide anything that might identify her as being a Jew. And that she can’t discuss faith for fear of being murdered. Now Christians are finding that like Debbie, we might be a target for murder if we discuss matters of faith while riding in a cab with a Muslim. I hope you folks reading this are figuring out that what made America different from other parts of the world, that oppress Christians and Jews is being taken away by Islamists. Who manipulate our laws in efforts to expand their reach and bring more of their like minded allies into our nation. You may not want a religious war, but you’re in the middle of one, because it has already been declared upon you if you’re not a Muslim. Even some Muslims who are not Muslim enough find their lives also being threatened. Like it or not, we must accept that Islam is incompatible with the West and take the advice of Congressman Virgil Goode.

I personally attended a public high school that was over 90% Jewish. Out of 1000 students about 75 of us were Christians and if you want to know the racial breakdown, out of that about 50 of us were Black. I recall one Christian classmate for South America. Christian Blacks, Christian Whites, one if not a handful of Christian Hispanics and mostly Jews were all there was. A very small number of the kids were Jewish by DNA, but atheist or agnostic in their beliefs. Back then I was just as I am now. Very outspoken about my faith. All of us could have debates for hours or the entire day about faith. But we entered the school as friends and we left the same way. Outside of school we could hang out and get along regardless of which way we felt best leads to Heaven. That sort of thing seems to fail when the wrong brand of Muslim is tossed into the mix. The only people who claim a twisted brand of the Christian faith and claim to kill in the name of faith are a small band of White Supremists and the media never minds calling them out. If immigrants from specific nations had a number of them (violent White Supremists) entering the USA and trying to kill people, I think even Democrats would move to place greater restraints on immigration from those nations. If in Germany today Christians and Jews were being hunted and then German immigrants were being locked up for murders here in the USA, I think it would be easy to limit immigration from Germany. (My apologies to you Germans reading this, I have to make my point.) We actually see this with nations like Somalia and just for offering that comparison, some Liberal reading this is angry. When someone like Virgil Goode recommends limiting immigration from certain nations he’s called a racist. I would say I hope me and Congressman Goode are wrong, but when I see what is happening in Europe, I know we are right.

update 2/21/2007 10:08PM: The Tennessean found a police report filed by United Cab, that mentions Sheikhahmed used to work for them and was trying to work with them again. Still the Tennessean won’t say Ibrahim Sheikhahmed is a Muslim.

Also, FoxNews found that Jeremie Invus is in pretty bad shape, even though he was at least able to leave the hospital.

Thankfully only one of Sheikhahmed’s targets was hit and he will recover.
