Check out this Black Mormon site. While trying to defend their cult and claim it was never racist, their own time line exposes the Mormons were big time racists. Scroll down to:

1978: Priesthood Ban Lifted

And it links to this page on the cult's site. Where they confirm they will stop being racists. Now do you need that "new revaluation" if the church was never under a totally racist doctrine? If it were true that they were not racist, there would have never been a ban or need for lifting it.

Look at the twisted mess of excuses given in that time line under:

1879: Abraham Smoot and Zebedee Coltrin Claim Joseph Smith Instituted the Priesthood Ban

The bottom line is that they were full bore racists who saw Blacks as less than Whites, but the site makes excuses because it's part of the cult. It was not just about the Black slaves in the South. That's why they had an across the board treatment of Blacks.

It's almost funny, but very sad that the entire cult started off the misguided vision of a 14 year old boy (Joseph Smith).

The history of the Mormon church regarding race is something many folks don't know about. The Mormons have changed their view of that. I think in the late 1970's they officially backed off their racist views. So anyone doing research on that angle would have to see where Romney has come down on the issue back when it was official church doctrine to treat Blacks as lesser and how he acted after their change.

The funny thing about the Mormons with race is that it was part of their OFFICIAL DOCTRINE. Their dislike of Blacks was not just an opinion like that of some racist Christians. It was the official and documented Mormon position on the issue, as ordered right from their top man at that time. It was not until after he was dead and gone that they suddenly had new revelations on the issue.

I'm not sure how that angle will play out and I'm not counting on it. Unless something can be found from Romney's own words about it.

I am 100% certain that Camp Romney already has a full defense waiting on ice, that they will pull out the moment this issue is raised. Unless there is something out there in Romney's own words that can be found. He was a VERY high ranking official in the Mormon church, so there is a chance he touched on the issue.

I suspect Romney will not last very long. If it even looks like he might have a chance at the nomination, the Godless Liberals will soon get a good understanding of the racist parts of the Mormon Church doctrine.

Remember, it's only been in the last thirty years that Blacks got souls. And I believe they still hold to the doctrine that people are born Black because they committed some sin in the spirit world.

This is what's called a target rich environment. Count on the Libs to find religion in order to hammer this guy.

You make some excellent point.
•	You are for killing babies, or against it. There is no such thing as a little pregnant.
•	How likely is a Mormon to defend Israel if they should get attacked by a Muslim holocaust denying country? I wouldn’t bet my life on it.
•	Michael Moore and any other anti-gun liberal with $35 can be a member of the NRA. What a politician does is more important than just being a member of an organization.

I do not belong to a political party, but I will not support be supporting Mitt. I only hope the GOP offers someone better that the present bunch of losers gets in the race. Michael Steele would really be a welcome addition.
