The Beating of Former US Border Patrol Agent Ignacio Ramos. (Video)

by @ 12:07 pm. Filed under Illegal Aliens, Video

Last night, FoxNews commentator Bill O’Reilly talked with Tara Setmayer, Communications Director for Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, about the prison beating of Ignacio Ramos.

Bill and Tara Setmayer

Tara Setmayer visited Ramos and says he was beaten severely.

Ms. Setmayer visited Ramos in prison and says when she saw him, that he had bruises all over the upper portion of his body and they were not “minor”. She said specifically that they were:

Yellow, purple, deep bruises.

She also mentioned, that his wrists and knees were scratched up. She felt he also had a concussion, but did not receive medical attention until days later.

Yazoo City, MS Prison Warden Constance Reese left when one of Bill’s people visited her with questions. Dan Ditto a Yazoo City, MS Prison Agent says that the prison is out of control and the inmates run the system.

Ditto might be correct. Because according to Setmayer, Ramos was attacked by 6 prisoners and 1 correctional officer is responsible for 147 inmates in that part of the prison. During the beating, that officer was on the other side of the prison doing a head count. The men in the cell with Ramos left just prior to the beating. It was all setup.

  1. JMK Says:

This is the terrible side to bureaucracy.

We put cops, soldiers and border patrol agents into extremely hostile, often potentially lethal situations with the training to subdue and apprehend various “enemies of society” with a specific set of tools, then we second-guess their every move, “Why’d you shoot a fleeing felon,” Why didn’t you check to make sure that insurgent didn’t come from a country we’re not at war with,” etc, etc.

Guys like Ramos deal with thugs the rest of us can’t imagine.

Then groups like the ACLU try and make these goons look like choir-boy victims.

Nicholson’s character in “A Few Good Men” was right, “I’d prefer that you, who sleep under the very protections I provide, refrain from questioning the manner in which I provide it. I’d prefer you just say thank you and walk away.” Ramos’ lawyer should’ve made that statement to the judge in that case.

Should abuses in any system be checked for?

    Certainly.

Should people completely unfamiliar with the parameters of those systems be in a position to judge those who are?

    Certainly not!
