You are on point with this post. I saw the show as well.

I was particularly taken by the boy from Berkeley CA who was protesting against AMERICAN torture in Iraq. He and his friends dressed up in orange jumpsuits and black hoods and walked the streets of the local shopping districts to advance their cause.

The only problem is that he IS NOT interested in "stopping" torture in Iraq. He is interested in stopping "American torture". Fast forward to the current debate bear out my point. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070209/D8N6BVR80.html

There is a person originally from the Middle East who is now an American citizen by marriage. He was captured in Iraq for fighting against the American forces. He is attempting to block the US military from handing him over to the Iraqi government BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE IS GOING TO GET TORTURED.

Now HOLD ON!!! If we look at the signs from a few weeks ago in Washington DC to protest the war - I saw none of them asking the Muslims to stop killing and torturing each other. I only saw signs directed at Bush and the American government.

There are masses of Americans who swear they are doing something when they protest when in truth they are only able get one side of the conflict to change their ways. The other people doing the most damage - DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT THE PROTESTERS THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

These leftists know they can only work to change those who attempt to live up to higher standards. They are relegated to ignoring the "savages", knowing that they don't care to live up to any particular standard.

Wow. Just one more reason why I don't have cable. Utterly disgusting behavior on the part of Nickelodeon. Where do the producers live? In some parallel universe where liberals and commies make up 95% of the population?

Maybe...or maybe they live in Hollywood.

Good post. This is exactly why I absolutely refuse to get cable TV or satellite. I have an external antenna, and I get maybe 5 channels. Any news that is worth knowing about, I read via the internet. When you read it, you can take your time and analyze it for bias, and not get information flashed in front of your eyes at lightning speed. My home will not be connected to Hollywood’s sewer line.
