(updated 4/30/2007) Benny Hinn forced YouTube to remove the video originally embedded with this post, but the video below has been updated with a copy from Google Videos. If that copy ever stops working, get the video direct from the source, the CBC at this web page. The video is property of the CBC, not Benny Hinn, but in my opinion he was able to fool YouTube into removing it by acting as if it was something he had rights to. I feel this is part of an effort by false teachers like Hinn to hide the truth from YOU.
I have found yet another great exposé on Benny Hinn. (Benny Hinn, aka King Pimp, aka the Mesmerist, aka Liar, aka False Teacher.) The previous exposé I mentioned here covered the scientific aspects of how Pimp Benny runs his game.
The exposé below focuses more on his lies, lavish lifestyle, greed and how those people who claim to be healed are picked to go on stage. Of course they (makers of this exposé) checked with the same people later and they either were not healed, dead or never had the condition they thought they had to begin with. Like with boxer Evander Holyfield, people are misdiagnosed and later think they were healed, when they simply were the victim of the wrong diagnosis. Other doctors can look at those same old test results and realize where mistakes were made in rendering the wrong diagnosis. I remember well when Holyfield claimed he was “healed” after seeing Benny Hinn and Evander wrote him a big check. Holyfield was also a member of Creflo Dollar’s big pimpin’ prosperity gospel ministry. (I don’t know if he’s still a member of Creflo’s church, but he used to give Creflo LOTS too.) I was a big boxing fan back when it all happened and I remember, that I did not see any discernible difference in Holyfield’s boxing after his alleged healing. Before, Holyfield would tire after 1 minute 30 seconds of every round and he did afterwards as well. And at the very closing seconds he’d try the same old flurry, to try and make sure he won the round. Holyfield only won later in his career, because the field of fighters became weak. I just wish the man would stop fighting and move into a smaller house. I think he fights these days just to maintain the house.
So check out this video. It was done by Canada’s CBC.
Benny Hinn is not a man of God.
He’s playing Christians for fools!
Matthew 19:21-30 (New King James Version)

Now consider carefully the words of the Lord. He was approached by a man who had already been doing all that is necessary to make it to Heaven. This man wanted to know how he could do even better in the eyes of God. Jesus told him to sell his stuff to the poor, all of it. The path to true perfection is through the vow of poverty, not the vow of prosperity.
Now I want to mention some other things about the verses above. First, versions of that text have been discovered which do not include the word “wife”. Also, later in that text Jesus mentioned receiving 100 fold. Mark 10:30 and Luke 18:30 note that the mentioned increase is promised to come now in this present time. However, the apostles gave up everything and there is no record of them living the lives of rich men here on earth afterwards. In fact, they were broke and homeless as Paul notes.
1 Corinthians 4:9-13 (New King James Version)

Now how could this be? That Jesus tells one man give up everything and get a reward in heaven, then told his apostles those who give up all would receive a great reward here on earth, yet they were homeless, hunted and marked for death. The fact of the matter is that Jesus’ statements to the man who asked were correct. Give up riches here and you’ll receive in Heaven. Those who actually did give up riches on earth did receive riches here on earth in return, however they were beyond the desire of retaining wealth for themselves, because of having given up their wealth earlier. So when they received their 100 fold here on earth, they gave it away. Which ensures them the greater blessing in Heaven. Christians are to strive for perfection and sorry to those who want a dollar, perfection does not come measured in dollars and cents, but a reward in Heaven for actually forsaking dollars here on earth. Now keep in mind who Jesus said give it to. He said give it to the poor. This would mean give it to the poor yourself directly. He didn’t say give it to the church. (Oh, oh I’m sure some pastor who wanted your money didn’t want me to say that.) I’m not saying don’t give to the ministry, but Jesus said if you want perfection and wish to give up ALL your money, you don’t dial a preacher and give it to him, you give it to the poor. Now having said all that, I’m not perfect
. But at least I’m not going to lie to you about where the path to perfection is. We should all pray it is a path we can some day grow into.
Now while we’re dealing with lying pimps that want your money, check out this exposé of TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). They claim to always need money, but appear to be sitting on hundreds of millions of dollars! Some of the money appears to go to paying hush money, to avoid a gay sex scandal from possibly being exposed. If it’s not true, why pay the hush money? Maybe if TBN were honest in other dealings you could believe them when they are accused of a scandal, but given their false doctrine I don’t trust them.
Pimps often love to attack their detractors as Left winged media hacks. I’m far from the Left and not a member of the main stream media (MSM). I just know they lie about what Jesus wants.
Now if you’ve watched those and can stand to see more of the mess made by prosperity gospel pimps, check out the video currently featured by Melvin over at Pulpit Pimps. Simply outrageous!

[...] More good coverage by Independent conservative on Benny Hin. 100 Million Dollars a Year. But the sick and disabled are kept in the rear. Buy the snake oil and swallow hard. I know God heals but thankfully we never see this in the New Testament. Just on the TV show. No… I’m not Jesus… I just play one on TV. Watch and then you decide. [...]
