Keep in mind you get both the 32 and 64-bit versions. The idea is that Vista will be around for a long time and you'll be able to go 64-bit in the future if you use 32-bit now. Given the issues, I might stick with XP. That makes no sense. You can get the full version from Amazon.com for $380 and the upgrade version for $250.
