From Someone Who Cannot Return to Our “Ally” in the War on Terror: “Here are some of the reasons why I cannot go to Afghanistan.”

by @ 6:40 pm. Filed under Evangelicals Under Attack

I was contacted by someone who must remain anonymous. They informed me they are a former Muslim, who left Afghanistan back in the 80’s and while in the USA found the Lord and converted to Christianity. Of course under “pure Islam” this makes them an apostate, who would be marked for death if they returned to their homeland. They might even be killed where they are now if any follower of “pure Islam” discovered them. This person has already lost 2 fingers to the nuts!

In this post I will share with you without any edits, the reasons they feel they cannot return to Afghanistan. All I ask is that you read it all. You will not see this anywhere else, although this is the kind of thing our MSM should be telling you more about.

Here are some of the reasons why I cannot go to Afghanistan.

1.
I am a converted Christian and in Afghanistan, it is a crime to convert to another religion from Islam, and it is punishable by death. There are many reports that Christians are persecuted, killed and tortured in Afghanistan. Mr. Abdul Rahman is a prime example of the above statement. He was only released because of the international pressure and the intervention of the President of Afghanistan, Prime Minister of Canada,Italy,Sweden,Germany, and Australia as well as the Pope.Furthermore,he was consider being mentally ill and as such was in able to stand in trial. However, comparing me with him. I am not mentally ill nor do I have the sources and high profile international back-ups of the Afghan President, Canadian, Australian, Italian and Swedish Prime Ministers, as Mr.Rahman did. Which means I will be persecuted and will be put to death just because I would like to have the freedom of my religion?

2.
Even If I got away from the government by some miracle?then I would have to face the Muslim Clerics and the people that I will be living with everyday and I know that I will be killed and tortured by them, because I have already experienced some of it by losing two of my fingers to them and have read about what happened to Mr.Rahman person of exactly my status.

3.
As mentioned above, Mr.Rahman was released due to the extreme international pressure, as well as for the excuse that he was insane and unfit for trial, but he still was taken to Italy and was granted asylum because the people of Afghanistan were going to kill/torture him. Because the Mullahs had already said that they will have him killed and it is consider an honor for a Muslim to kill a converted Christian. (Not to mention that many politicians use this for political benefits they will gain by killing an apostate.) Infact they even kidnapped an Italian Muslim a demanded to release him for the return of Abdul Rahman. This clearly shows what will happen to me If went to Afghanistan.

4.
I recently found out that there are many more reports of the persecution and execution of Christians in Afghanistan. The Christians news group Compass Direct confirmed and reported the arrest of two other Afghan Christians elsewhere in the country. Because of the sensitive situation, local sources requested that the location of the jailed converts be withheld. The past weekend, one young Afghan convert to Christianity was severely beaten out side of his home by a group of six men, who finally knocked him unconscious with a hard blow to his temple. He woke up in the hospital two hours later but was discharge before the morning. Several other Afghan Christians have been subjected to police raids on their homes and places of work in the past month, as well as the telephone threats.

5.
Another news group ?International Christian Concern? has reported that between June and august 2004; five male converts to Christianity were shot and killed in Afghanistan. So this again a clear proof of what would happen if I went to Afghanistan, because these men also like myself did not have the sources and reach of high profile personals and the result they are now only news and no one was able to help them when they needed it.

So there you have it. This is what is happening in that nation we see as an “ally” in the war on terror. They themselves are the enemies to anyone that chooses to leave their faith to accept the faith most Americans embrace. This is how they treat citizens of their own nation.

I will have the details of this person’s story in tomorrow’s first post.
