Well La Shawn Barber is opening up the new year with a can of whip butt for the Poverty Pimps of the Civil Rights Industry and their selective outrage when it comes to crime.
She notes:
…
Criminality and incarceration (however brief) is a defining characteristic of black subculture. The least of our concerns are drunk white men at house parties or perceived ?racist? police shootings. If white cops want to kill black men and white boys want to rape black women, they?ll need to kill and violate a hell of a lot of them to catch up to black-on-black crime stats.
…
Among other facts and figures, she cites an article that mentions:
Where’s the outrage over black-on-black killings? - USAToday 1/2/2007
|
La Shawn ponders:
…
Now, what could be happening is that blacks are protesting against and ranting about black-on-black crime, and the jaded media simply fail to report it. After all, black-on-black and black-on-white crimes are more common, but just the perception of white-on-black crime gets their investigative reporting juices flowing.
…
I can tell you, it’s not selective reporting by the media. When Blacks kill other Blacks there is little or no emotion at all expressed in public, unless it is a very young child that is killed by an adult thug. If a young thug kills a child it’s treated with the usual weak response, except from maybe the murdered child’s classmates and parents. When Blacks kill other Blacks the most that occurs is a prayer vigil, but when a White person is even suspected of harming (not necessarily killing) a Black person there are protests and every form of march, meeting, conference, vigil and other display of emotion one could dream of. People like original Black Panther member Charles Barron see all police (regardless of their race) as “Blue” and associate them with “White”. Plenty of Blacks agree with him, he’s continually re-elected in a majority Black NYC district. I don’t understand the lunacy, I just know it’s there.
The news media reports the emotional response in the streets if any occurs, but even if there is emotion in the streets after a Black person kills another Black, the turnout is tens or maybe hundreds of people at best. When a White person dares harm a Black person the turnout is often measured in the thousands. And if the turnout regarding a White harming a Black is low, there are always those media appointed so-called Black Leaders that will ensure they leverage their media contracts and connections, to give the incident national attention. (It’s the stuff that keeps their rates high.) Besides, when Blacks complain about a Black killing another Black person they never talk about “war” and they never say things to the thugs like:
We?re not the only ones that can bleed.
Oh no, they only use such terms when directing it towards White people. In my opinion, they are in a mental state of racial cold-war, with an expressed desire to heat things up a bit.
Just recently, the number of our servicemen killed in Iraq hit 3,000. Never mind the number of abortions is probably near 5 million. (See the counter on the lower left of this page.) As the column cited above mentions, Blacks archived almost 3,000 murders in 2005 alone. We’re still waiting to see how Blacks performed in 2006!
Where’s the outrage? There will be none. You can’t make as much money off a demographic with a massive high school drop out rate, but they can be easily manipulated. So the Civil Rights Industry will wait till another White dares to harm a Black person and milk them instead.

There’s money and political influence at stake in racial discord and that’s a fact.
Charles Barron was elected to the city council on that and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have found a way to milk millions from that same viral strain.
That’s why Guiliani’s tenure (actually it was Bill Bratton’s procedures) saved thousands of black & Hispanic lives in NYC. When Guiliani took office in Januray of 1993, the murder rate under the previous Mayor, David Dinkins (ironically a black, Liberal, Democrat) was over 2,000/year and had held steady over the previous few years. Under Bratton’s dircet intervention techniques NYC’s murder rate was dropped to under 500!
Considering that the vast majority of murders in NYC were committed by minorities upon minorities, it stands to reason that the bulk of the lives saved by that huge murder rate reduction were minority lives.
What Bratton did was to first go after the routine “quality of life” crimes - aggressive panahndling (he got the “squeegee men” off the highway exits and street corners), locked up turnstile jumpers and those guilty of petty crimes like public urination, on the premise (a premise that turned out to be right), that many of those who engaged in such quality of life crimes were also wanted for other more serious crimes. In this crackdown alone, thousands of violent felons who’d skipped out on warrants were locked up.
This, coupled with longer sentences for repeat offenders took a lot of the real bad characters off our streets and resulted in a dramatic across the board drop in crime.
There’s no doubt that the Barron’s, Sharpton’s and Jackson’s oppose that format, because they see the black criminal/thug class as “social revolutionaries.” You didn’t see any of them at the funerals of the two black NYPD detectives (Rodney Andrews and James Nemorin) gunned down by a Staten Island thug (Ronell Wilson) who was also black, but you sure saw them stoking the flames of racial discord over the Sean Bell shooting, even though there was only ONE European-American involved in that incident - of the five officers who fired their weapons, two were black, one was Hispanic, one was Syrian and one was white (European).
In early December our FDNY rig was parked not far from a rally organized by Sharpton’s Action Network over the Sean Bell shooting. We were just taking up from a HazMat run in the are and soon took in another literally around the corner.
While I and a few other firefighters were standing outside the rig, a young black woman passed by and said, “Thank you for all you do.”
I replied “Thanks! And God bless you” She turned again and said, “God bles you too.”
I wanted to say something about how the worst of any group are no reflection on the rest of that group, but it’s hard to put such things into words, or at least short phrases you could call out at a time like that, but in retrospect I probably didn’t have to. I’m sure that woman knew that.
There are basically two kinds of people in the world - decent and indecent and within five minutes most of us reveal which one of those we are.
No black person should feel any more embarrassed by a Charles Barron, than an Italian-American should feel embarrassed by John Gotti. Those people are not reflective of the rest of those groups. Overwhelmingly, and despite our occasional weakenesses, most people (maybe over 90%) are kind and generous and decent.
The Charles Barron’s and Mike Nifong’s who’d use racial strife for their own gain, are relatively few and far between.

Burning The House Of The Civil Rights Industry
Piggybacking off commentaries by DeWayne Wickham and La Shawn Barber, Independent Conservative writes about selective outrage over black-on-black crime. The black blogger writes: “I can tell you, it?s not selective reporting by the media. When Blacks…
