There are all kinds of studies that show children suffere emotional and psychological trauma being raised in such abberant environs, though gays love to boast about such inanities as "children reared by gay couples are less restricted by assigned sex roles." THAT'S emtioanl trauma! While I can sympathize with the VP's love for his daughter, that doesn't have to mean, nor should it mean "acting as though everything that she does is OK." A gay couple is not a “family.”
