Grab a turnstile jumper in any big city subway station and the odds are better than 2:1 that he's committed more serious crimes - same here. The problem is that BOTH major political Parties have let the American people down regarding illegal immigration - the GOP over for the cheap labor, the Dems ostensibly for votes. Both are not only short-sighted, but misguided, as well. This "cheap labor" makes a select few wealthy Americans richer, but it puts a persistent, downward pressure on all wage rates, first dragging down wage rates for low and unskilled labor, then once this "wage floor" is lowered, this leads to a downward pressure on all other wage rates. The illegal aliens are, for the most part thugs.
