Everyone who says it was Iraq, should consider the fact that a pro-war Independent won over an anti-war Liberal Democrat in Connecticut, while an anti-war Republican lost in RI. Far more people want Iraq won and handled properly than want to cut and run. The issues that killed the GOP earlier this month are the border and reckless federal spending. Ironically, the only hope for defeating another amnesty proposal lies with those Blue Dawg "New Democrats." This is the issue that most screwed the Republicans in the last election!
