That’s an interesting webpage, though many around Richards still claim he’s Jewish – “On November 22, 2006, reports surfaced that Richards had made Anti-Semitic comments during a stand-up routine earlier in 2006. Richards’ publicist, Howard Rubenstein, confirmed the report, and added that the remarks were made as part of the act, and that Richards himself is Jewish. The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles, citing anonymous sources familiar with Richards as well as a television director who has worked with Richards for several years, has noted that Richards is not Jewish and was raised a Catholic.” – very possibly for additional damage control.

With more reports of such episodes coming to light all the time, it’s hard to say how long he’s been like this. After all, actors are protected just as athletes are and for the same reason – people have invested money in them.

Of course some of his frustration could stem from him never making it post-Seinfeld. His own show failed and he was considered for the lead role in Monk before Tony Shalub got it. Richards is said to have a huge ego and if that’s so, then it’s not hard to figure he’d have thought he’d have been even better in Monk than Shalub (despite no actual evidence of that), prompting him to believe that someone else stole his “lead gig.”

No matter how disappointed Richards has been post-Seinfeld, I think it’s going to be nothing compared to the disappointment he’ll face in the future.

It’s also interesting that he did so many years of taping of a TV show with no such issues being known. It seems someone with such “rage” would not have been able to hold a steady job for years.

Most mentally ill people are not also emotionally disturbed as well. I believe this fellow Richards however, is extremely emotionally disturbed just from reading the numerous accounts of his similar “ventings.”

My understanding is that all the two guys said was something like, “You’re not funny,” before Richards went off like he did. The complete irrationality of these incidents is really disturbing. In this latest tantrum, he was not merely racially offensive, but threatening as well…this is a real disturbed guy, who probably badly needed to get his a$$ whupped.

It’s sad to see Jerry Seinfeld going to bat for this guy as damage control for the 7th season of “Seinfeld” DVD going on sale today (Friday 11/24/06)…that just makes it look kinda cheap and cheesy.

It’s always sad to see the likes of Sharpton & Jackson getting involved in any such event. In my view, no one should be presumptious enough to claim to represent an entire group of people.

I’ve got a bad feeling that KKK-Kramer’s “absolution” is going to come through some sort of “donation to the Reverends,” when any compensation proffered, SHOULD go to the actual victims of this verbal onslaught (Doss & McBride).

A female comic recently recounted a story of how he bellowed a “C-word” laden tirade at her after she inadvertently bumped a table, knocking his tape recorder off it. The guy’s a real idiot.

What makes this a story, at least to me, is how such a blatant act is handled by the mainstream media when the perpetrator is a PC Liberal. His “PR Director” immediately contacted Al Sharpton (that’s like a black guy making a similar afront contacting Tom Metzger or David Dukes to “make things right with whites”)…the same Al Sharpton who regularly engages in the most vile kinds of race baiting himself. In fact, Sharpton’s response to the Richards apology wasn’t anything to do with the weird and meandering content, but the VENUE – he felt the David Letterman Show was “a white show.” Yeah, Sharpton’s a real good pathway to racial reconciliation.

The common triggering mechanism in all these rants seems to be Michael “KKK-Kramer” Richards rage. It’s actually surprising that Richards hasn’t assaulted anyone as yet, sinc epeople prone to such rages are very often unpredictably dangerous in their dealings with others.

Richards’ behavior may well be psychiatric in origin, but the reaction by the Left-wing media is even more dysfunctional.
