Let’s start at the top. First Michael Richards, who played the role of “Kramer” on the TV sitcom Seinfeld was doing a stand-up act at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, California. During his act some guys were talking and heckling him. Richards (being a weak comic and a racist idiot) was unable to simply out-duel the hecklers or politely request they be removed. He decided to break into a racist tirade. Using statements fitting a Klan rally.

Be sure to watch the video provided at the link above. What we know is this, the crowd was not siding with Richards, they sided with the hecklers and you can see them all leaving. First the hecklers left and then the crowd followed them instead of staying in support of Richards. Which means the hecklers obviously did not say anything that would condone Richards’ racist tirade. Some say we didn’t see the whole tape, but the crowd’s response is more than obvious. Richards is an evil racist bastard, that glorifies a period when Blacks were lynched if they dared offend a White man. (Richards is a White man. His role on the show Seinfeld was based on a former neighbor of comedian Jerry Seinfeld. Both Seinfeld and his former neighbor the role “Kramer” was based on are Jewish.)
Tonight I just happened to turn on my TV and it was tuned to C-BS, because of some sports I was watching over the weekend. And I just happened to see Richards on David Letterman’s show via video, while Jerry Seinfeld was in studio with Letterman. Richards claimed we did not see the whole tape and that he attempted to “joust” with the hecklers. Obviously he’s a lame jouster. He did not say that the hecklers said anything of a racist nature before his tirade. Some people claim the hecklers called Richards a “cracker”, but the video shows they only said that after Richards spoke of them being lynched! Still they did not have to respond to racist talk with racist talk of their own, but they were attacked on the basis of race and responded in-kind. As I mentioned, the crowd sided with the hecklers by leaving Richards and following them. So with the crowd being the impromptu jury in all of this, I think statements about not seeing the entire video are bogus cover.
Also while on Letterman’s show, Richards said “I’m not a racist”, yes you are you lying bastard! He did claim to have remorse about his tirade and offered apologies to any and all in whatever verbal form he felt might save his career. I know I won’t be giving him any of my money, but then again I never did. (No I was not a fan of Seinfeld. I felt the show’s comedic timing was terrible.)
Richards claimed to have “rage” and he said that he would like to explain the source of his “rage”. He then tried to associate it with global events and claimed his “rage” is an expression that is carried over into current conflicts of war. I see that as a lame effort on his part, to try and shift some of the burden of being a racist bastard off of himself.
Jerry Seinfeld said that he wanted Richards to have an opportunity to apologize and was glad Letterman provided that opportunity. All I have to say to Seinfeld and Letterman is, that those who hate Blacks never have love for Jews either, so watch your back. Useful idiots have helped many an evil man dupe others.
I must also add, that I heard clips from a press conference. Where Laugh Factory co-owner Paul Rodriguez was trying to tell people his club did not condone such comments. Some Blacks in the crowd acted as if Rodriguez should ban the “n-word” from his club and basically assume some form of liability in the matter. I think the Blacks yelling out at Rodriguez were disgraceful in their actions. The club should not ban any word and if those Blacks yelling at Rodriguez want to stop use of the “n-word”, they can start with the Black comedians that use it as a staple in their routines. And nobody ever talks about the trashy Black racist comedians, that trash Whites in their skits and even to White people’s faces in comedy clubs across America. Nobody ever leaves when the Black comedians unleash a racist tirade on White customers.

Really F*cked up comments and far worse than Gibson’s to boot, because Gibson was verified impaired by the police who stopped him. Michael Richards was “in control,” on stage and in a position of authority or at least focus. Also, in Gibson’s apology,, he blamed only himself and didn’t try pawning off his “rage” on the war in Iraq and other outside forces.
I love how “entertainment” and “art” has become a shield for the most vile kind of comments…at least for those deemed “politically correct.” It was damned straight of those people in the audience to leave en masse after Richards spewed his bile.

Great commentary, Darnell. I think Richards is getting a major slap on the wrist by the liberal media for this, probably because he brought up Hurricane Katrina and an implied reference to the Iraq War in his non-apology. I guarantee you that if I made excuses for shortcomings in my job or in my marriage on something as bizarre as Hurricane Katrina I would be in much deeper water than I began in.
Rush was kicked off ESPN and scathed in the media for weeks for merely suggesting that a quarterback was receiving preferential treatment from the media because he was black. In contrast, Richards goes on a blatantly racist, disgusting tirade and gets off clean as a whistle because he’s a big Hollywood liberal.

OK, I know that this is about a month late, but there’s something you all need to know. Paul Rodriguez made some pretty racist comments himself in a televised comedy routine a few years ago but because we live in a wimpy country where poltical correctness dictates that it’s ok to be racist if you’re non-White, he got a free pass.
I don’t remember the name of the show, but it was one of those cable-channel comedy specials and at the end of the show Rodriguez said…and I don’t the exact words “For all of you people who want to control the U.S./Mexican border, F**k you! We’re coming in here, you can’t stop us, and we’ll outbreed you!” The crowd loved it and applauded. There it was, on film with Hollywood’s blessings. I rest my case.

I’ve seen all the attacks on Michael Richards for things he should never have said, but nobody has bothered to produce any factual evidence (hearsay is unacceptable) to contradict his assertion that it was the unfortunate result of his rage in reaction to his hecklers. In a fit of rage, a person will say just about anything to hurt the person or people who are the focus of his/her rage.
It’s too easy to sit in judgment when next to none of his attackers know Michael on any personal level and can only turn to one incident to pass judegment on him. Nobody can produce any evidence of Michael exhibiting consistent racist behaviour, but he’s a racist by default for uttering racial slurs while in a fit of rage.
I can say with confidence that none of these people who are attacking his character know him personally. I don’t know him. I’ve never met him. Have you? And up until now, his comedy act has never received public attention for being racist. So why not believe he did it out of rage? My only conclusion is that the he is white and he said something racist, so his attackers have drawn their racist conclusion that he is indeed a racist. Prove me wrong.
