First nut case and soon to be former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney had her father, former GA state representative Billy McKinney doing his impersonation of a racist Sesame Street spelling bee with the word J-E-W-S. Now Congressman and wanna-a-be Senator Harold Ford Jr. has his father Harold Ford Sr. making new October surprises for his campaign. Ian at Hot Air is coming up with some good clips today. Harold Ford Sr. was caught on camera calling a White Pro-Life activist a “cracker”.
Just as Ford was trying to separate himself from his family’s actions, they go acting up right in front of his headquarters. And with a father that calls White people “crackers” right outside of Ford Jr. headquarters, when he knew the cameras were on him. One has to wonder what’s being said inside of Ford’s headquarters when the cameras are off. Remember a former McKinney staffer said things were not well inside camp McKinney when nobody was looking.
Well, Ford’s done for in this race.

update 10/25/2006 11:39AM: Retraction. Although it really sounded like “cracker” Harold Ford Sr. said “tracker”. Honest mistake. It really does not matter, Ford’s campaign was finished even before this.
