I was SO SURE then President Bill Clinton was going to declare war on the state sponsors of those behind the attack. And so I waited….no declaration of war. Nobody said a word about war during the Presidential debates between Bush and Gore. It was like the response in terms of attacking those behind it was equivalent to a rock throwing incident. I could not believe a US war ship could be bombed, left with a big hole in the side of it, sailors dead and the USA not launch an all out attack against any and all state sponsors involved.

Then came 9/11 and America finally found it’s war footing. How long we keep the fight at the enemy’s door remains to be seen.
