La Shawn Barber is covering the news about Ghana apologizing for its role in the slave trade. Without the willingness of nations like Ghana, to enslave and sell humans off like cattle, many of the other issues with West African slavery may have never happened. Of course we know Muslims were running slavery on the East side of the African continent and still run slaves now.

Given Ghana was a primary perpetrator and supplier, not the buyer looking to make a purchase of the sickest kind (humans). Ghana should be held to as much or higher a bar for redemption as America or any European nation, for its role in the past slave trade. So using Liberal logic, I feel it is only right to demand reparations from Ghana. So what if Ghana is a poor nation, the USA has mounds of debt and demands are still made on the USA for the same. The USA has supplied Blacks with an enormous amount of money, in the form of various social programs. And yes, some Blacks really were given land and money after slavery. Some Blacks that wanted to leave America, were even given help to move back to the African continent (Liberia). I’m sure Ghana can start doing their part, by sending some form of welfare checks to all Blacks in America. Keep in mind I’m using Liberal logic here, so tracing the DNA of someone who might have had a forefather who was a victim is not necessary. Just tell Ghana to start sending checks, to anyone that feels like declaring themselves as “Black”.

OK, of course I was not being serious, but those who do demand things like reparations would have to apply that logic, to come close to being sincere about their efforts. The fact they only run to the “evil White man” for money proves they have disdain for Whites, not Blacks. The fact they cry endlessly when a Black person claims to have been hurt by Whites but don’t say as much when a Black hurts another Black also proves it. They harbor a view of Whites being inherently evil and owing them something. Otherwise, they would not continuously bug Whites while ignoring the sins committed by Blacks. This shows that they by definition are racists. They feel Blacks are the angelic innocent victims of evil White oppressors and payback from Whites would be a form of providential justice.

Think I’m full of it? Actions speak louder than words!

I was not mad at Ghana and I’m not mad at America. So neither needs to feel that they must make an apology to me. But I’ll accept the apology that has been offered. So what if it’s simply to boost their economic bottom line (tourism). Plenty of people want to “make amends” when they are tight for cash .
