It Does Not Matter Where I Was on 9/11/2001!

What matters is that today we recognize the enemy must be destroyed. The fight must continue and in continuing to fight the enemy we will never forget why they are worthy of annihilation! Sure I remember where I was and all of that. And back then I felt the same way I do now, the same way I felt when the USS Cole was bombed, which nobody talks about remembering. I felt and still feel this enemy must be destroyed and all who inhibit the effort should be ignored.

I’m not going to offer you a post full of pity, because that would please the enemy. I’m going to offer my continued support in the endorsement of candidates and efforts that continue the war on terror. Acting like the enemy is not there will not work and trying to cater to the enemy will not work either. The enemy wants to kill you or force you into capitulation. How do I know? Because the Koran tells me so!

The Koran, Surah 9.29-30

[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

And unlike the Bible folks, these words come from the latter part of Mohammed’s life, where as the Old Testament Biblical verses about attacking others are superseded by New Testament verses of peace. Which is why we only fight in our own self defense. The Koran’s verses about peace are superseded by the later verses about war. Also known as Mohammed’s Medina period. I don’t profess to be a Muslim scholar, this is what Muslim leaders say and instruct in nations under full orthodox Islamic rule!

Here’s a book the enemy does not want you to read.

So never forget what happened regarding any of the attacks from our enemy and continue the fight. Because the enemy will continue to celebrate those attacks and attempt others, until they are the ones who are subjugated or destroyed. That’s what war is about folks. Forcing your enemy to do as you desire or killing them. We didn’t ask for the war, but we must finish it!

[...] I also understand perfectly the thoughts of the Independent Conservative who says - “It Does Not Matter Where I Was on 9/11/2001!”. The past is the past, and it possible to be overcome in our grief and disbelief to forget that it really only matters what we do from this point forward. That’s true in all aspects of our lives, from how our government officials behave to how we live our lives. It’s true, but I do think it is good to take some time to really remember what happened. Not to live in the past, but to remember the scope and enormity of that day. After time, it can be easy to put “9/11″ in a compartment and shut it away. It was so horrible that we can hope that it was a single desperate act, instead of just one act in a much larger story. [...]
