OK, so you’ve probably already heard about this mess.
Milwaukee police say 11-year-old girl is sexually assaulted by as many as 20 boys
|
One suspect has already confessed to being party to the crime. Now lets just sit back and see if there will be any demonstrations like there were in Durham, NC around the Duke lacrosse rape case. Where will those who cried in defense of “Black people” go in Milwaukee, to protest the abuse of a Black child by a band of thug minded fools? (Assuming the abused child is Black, but even if not will they stand against the crime simply because it’s a crime?)
Of course I want stiff prosecution for all who are found guilty of abusing that child. I’m just wondering where those who wanted supposed justice for a stripper who I feel is lying will stand.
Cases like this one sometimes do a good job of separating the opportunists from those who really care about justice. People in that area have already said publicly that they want full prosecution for the suspects. I just wonder what the members of the Civil Rights Industry will say. Will they agree with the people who want full prosecution or will they pull out their “mercy” flags, because the suspects are Black? (Assuming the suspects are Black. This did happen in a majority Black area and I’M SURE if the suspects were all White we’d have heard about it by now.) I say mercy is the fact I’m not advocating the death penalty for the abusers.
Hat tip to SMP at Language Major.
