I Really Don’t Like Howard Dean or Keith Olbermann, but I’d Never Wish Death For Them. Larry Elder, Please Stop That! (Audio)

by @ 11:08 am. Filed under Audio, Nuts on Parade

Larry ElderHoward DeanKeith O I never thought I’d put Larry Elder in my blog’s “Nuts on Parade” category for anything, but I guess there’s a first time for everything.

Yesterday he was discussing how Christopher Hitchens was ripping Bill Maher on Maher’s HBO show. And then Mr. Elder mentioned Keith Olbermann and a possible misquote from Howard Dean. As he transitioned from speaking about Maher to Olbermann, he said something that I think really was wrong. He said:

And I’m not quite sure as to, ah as to between Howard Dean and ah, ah Keith Olbermann, which one should get the death penalty.

Come on now Larry. This is just not right. I don’t know if Dean or Olbermann have ever desired death for anyone they disagree with politically, but I expect better from you, than what comes from the mouths of those Liberal nut cases. I think it would be good for Mr. Elder to retract his statement and apologize.

While I don’t necessarily agree with Mr. Elder, it is understandable that he would muse about the death penalty. Both Howard Dean and Mr. Olbermann have been saying things publicly, which in another era, would be considered treasonous in a time of war. Both men fail to understand the struggle this nation faces against Islam, with its subsequent battles that have manifested themselves in Iraq and elsewhere. In fact, the nation itself still does not appreciate the struggle since it is an amalgam of different religous thought. Many Christians do not appreciate the fact that Islam is not a religon of peace. It is hard to try to reconcile political opinion with the walking out of the Christian faith for the believer. How much more difficult can it be for those who don’t know Christ.

    Hey dougieb,

I think using the treason point of view you make an excellent point. If Larry had put his statement in those terms I would agree.

  3. liberalism is a mental disorder Says:

I know the bible talks about us not being judge and turning the other cheek, but is it so bad in the overall scheme of things? I mean, take a look at what I posted on my blog http://saynototheleft.blogspot.com/2006/09/liberalsand-their-contempt-for.html

The liberals are sickening in their contempt for america.

I know, I need to pray about this, but I am soo angry right now and worked up.
