Juan Williams versus Al Sharpton. Juan, You’re Right But Could Have Used a Better Example. (Video link)

by @ 2:02 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

So last night on FoxNews Juan Williams took on Al Sharpton. Juan’s new book Enough: The Phony Leaders, Dead-End Movements, and Culture of Failure That Are Undermining Black America–and What We Can Do About It, has all the poverty pimps crying and moaning. Which is their favorite pastime anyway. They see Juan’s criticism as bad for their business, given their CEO status in the Civil Rights Industry. You can watch the video of Mr. Williams and Sharpton’s debate using this video link. It was on Bill O’Riley’s show.

Bill asked Juan for an example of Al Sharpton taking money from corporations while not working in the best interests of Blacks. (You know, since people like Sharpton claim that they work in the best interests of Blacks and all…) Mr. Williams cited a 2002 WSJ article related to the Word Network shakedown protests. (Race hustlers crying to cable companies to carry an all Black Gospel network or be branded something like “racists”.) While it was self serving for people like Jesse Jackson, who has programs on the Word Network, it was not the best example of something Sharpton was involved in that worked directly against the best interests of those Sharpton claims to protect.

Why didn’t Juan bring up Sharpton’s advertising work with the shady quick loan company LoanMax? A prime example of Sharpton working with a company that has left plenty of people who were not credit worthy in worse shape, by offering them loans with insane, but legal (in some states) terms. Not exactly a nice way to look out for “the little guy” as Sharpton likes to claim. (Not that I feel Blacks should be associated with poverty and bad credit, but it’s what the poverty pimps do. And no I don’t feel people with bad credit should be given loan terms that equal someone who has proven themselves to be more trustworthy. Just the same I’d never endorse a quick loan company, with their terms that really are insane.)

And there are other examples, like Shaprton’s infamous “coke tape” that I also mention in that link above. There is no shortage of examples of Sharpton doing things that have hurt more Blacks than he’s helped. Like his advocacy of the federal government forcing states to allow mothers to kill their own babies in the womb (aka abortion). The blood runs in the abortion mills daily and you’ll never see Al Sharpton outside with a protest sign!

And let’s not forget Shaprton’s efforts to try and convince Blacks that the gay lifestyle should be accepted, instead of being condemned as the sin that it is. Souls following Sharpton’s teachings are sure to be lost in some serious sin!

OK, this is the last example because there are so many I don’t want to waste hours listing more. But Al Sharpton was one of the nuts who was against executing thug Stanley “Tookie” Williams. If George W. Bush started a street gang that resulted in Blacks killing each other, do you think Sharpton would want to “save Bush” because he wrote some children’s books from his jail cell? Of course not! He didn’t even protest the execution of Clarence Ray Allen. One Liberal noted how the race baiters were absent, when the person about to be executed was not Black. So Sharpton has supported people who inspire the murder of Blacks inside and even outside of the womb. Not even a Klansman could do a better job of working against Blacks. In fact, in this regard I think the Klan honestly praises Sharpton’s efforts!

Juan WIlliams’ book and Bill Cosby’s national tour represent a necessary reality check within the Black community. The Kneegrows On Stage With A Mic In Their Hands have gone unchecked for decades. Most people gave them a blank check because at one time White systematic racism was more critical of a threat than was internal issues within the Black community that needed focus.

Despite the fact that both Cosby and Williams have credibility to spare this did not stop the attacks upon them. There is an active force of people within our community that wants to RESIST CHANGE WITH THE BLACK COMMUNITY, instead attempting to have Black relief come as a result of White folks changing.

The Black community needs to commit to CHANGE and to meeting certain goals. We need to purge all predestined dogma and elect those policies which get us to these goals most efficiently.
