Even the King of “Thug Life” Knew Music Affects Culture, Especially in Children

by @ 1:32 pm. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

It is so interesting that Tupac Shakur wrote some of the trashiest most disrespectful to women lyrics in rap music. About how he “gets around” and asking them “how do you want it”, because he wanted to “toss it up”. But with all his trash, he was caught in an honest moment giving full testimony, that could be used in a trial of trash Hip Hop. He fully explained how he and kids now growing up in the world of an over 70% Black out of wedlock birth rate are sucking in garbage trash hip hop lyrics as their form of fatherly instruction. (Of course this can happen in any fatherless home, but it’s all been most acute with Blacks and Hip Hop was spawn from Black culture.)

His statement totally blows away the claims by defenders of trash Hip Hop, who claim it does not actually inspire evil in the minds of impressionable children.

The thug music is the cornerstone of the thug culture in America. It is a form of music that was once kept off radio airwaves, but is often allowed now on some stations and tops music charts today.

The book of Joshua has a good verse that speaks about the benefits of focusing on God’s law versus trash.

Joshua 1:8 (New King James Version)

8) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

David said in a Psalm.

Psalm 119:11 (New King James Version)

11) Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.

Jesus mentions keeping his commandments will never result in someone feeling like an orphaned child.

John 14:15-18 (New King James Version)

15) ?If you love Me, keep My commandments.

16) And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever?

17) the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

18) I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

The fatherless child needs the Gospel of Jesus delivered to them, in order to avoid certain destruction. Today’s methods of mass trash media make it harder for the Gospel message to be effectively delivered, but we must continue efforts to curb the trash and deliver the GOOD NEWS of Jesus instead.

Once upon a time in America, what is now considered “censorship” was simply considered good common sense.

Nice job! The most important thing a parent can do for a child, is raise them up in the knowledge of God! All else will work out.
