Members of the news media had to call 911 to protect them from (soon to be former) congresswoman Cynthia McKinney’s goons!

They chased a member of the media into a satellite truck, roughed up some people and tossed a news camera to the ground.

What sent McKinney’s goons into outrage against all members of the media in their path? A boom mic accidentally hit someone in the head. Instead of being understanding about the accident that does not appear to have injure anyone, McKinney’s goons attacked all media members in their sight.

update 8/9/2006 7:23PM: Foxnews reports that McKinney’s security consists of members of the racist New Black Panther Party. A splinter of the Nation of Islam. Of course we all know the Nation of Islam is led by racist Louis Farrakhan. The New Black Panther Party is the same racist group that had members yelling racist slurs in Durham, NC when the Duke lacrosse rape case was getting media attention. In fact I noticed one of the same people in McKinney’s security group was the same one making much of the noise in Durham, NC and the same one that has been on FoxNews before.

FoxNews also reported that one of McKinney’s security members (looked like the one that had a scuffle with a photographer earlier in the day) was cut over the eye by a camera before things got really heated and McKinney’s mother was the one hit with a boom mic. She was treated on the scene.

FoxNews also reported that there was plenty of racist language, especially hatred of Jews and Israel being tossed around. It was all reported today on the FoxNews show Special Report. If anyone has video of their coverage let me know and I’ll link or host it.

update 8/10/2006 9:50AM: Ian has posted the video on Hot Air. Hashim Nzinga is the nut who was caught on video saying the most garbage. He’s the same one that was with Malik Zulu Shabazz in Durham, NC. I wonder “how much African blood” one must have to be a member of the New Black Panther Party? I mean Hashim Nzinga visibly does not have much. See his picture from a FoxNews appearance where he was defending McKinney below.

Given he is such a high ranking member of this group that spouts Black supremacy and he obviously does not have a high percentage of “pure African blood”, I wonder if they would allow in a person with blond hair and blue eyes or a Jewish person if they can satisfy the “one drop” rule? I mean there are some people who are not visibly dark skinned that say some stupid stuff too. Maybe they can look into seeing if people like Ned Lamont and Howard Dean could become honorary members? Or maybe they could team up with race baiters of all stripes to form a racist defense fund? They could use fundraising slogans like “overtly defending racist just like Democrats did during Jim Crow” and catchy sayings like that .
