Not that polls are the poll that really counts, but it looks like Hank is in the lead.

Poll: McKinney Trails Johnson 52-39

According to new poll numbers just released by InsiderAdvantage, U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney continues to trail challenger Hank Johnson by a double-digit margin as the runoff campaign for the Democratic nomination for McKinney?s 4th District seat enters it?s final weekend.

In the survey of 300 likely voters, conducted on Thursday evening, Johnson received 52 percent, while McKinney had 39 percent. Nine percent of likely voters remain undecided.

InsiderAdvantage CEO and syndicated columnist Matt Towery points to a narrowing of undecided voters pushing the total above 50 percent for Johnson.

The evil witch of South Dekalb might be defeated again!

I caught just a few moments of this debate on C-SPAN, specifically, the part where the candidates were asked to name two instances where they would approve of past United States’ active military involvement. While I pray that Rep. Smarty-mouth McKinney gets whooped all the way back to Georgia, I wouldn’t be so quick to shower Mr. Johnson with compliments. In the first place, he struggled to name just one conflict - Afghanistan. Second, only after the moderator mentioned Boznia Herzegovina was Mr. Johnson able to name two. Third, the poor man couldn’t even pronounce “Herzegovina”!! After that and Rep. McKinney’s initial refusal to respond and her smart aleck comeback of “Well, you didn’t SAY that,” I couldn’t take any more. These are the people we elect to the United States Congress??? Lord help us!

    Welcome valerie.

Yes I mention how terrible it is that they can’t answer such a simple question in this other thread.

For now the worst which is McKinney has to be given the boot and maybe that district can work its way up from there :) . It’s sad.
