Last night was Georgia’s Primary elections, which included the party primary races for GA’s 4th US Congressional seat. Basically in the 4th District, he who wins the Democratic Primary wins it all. What can I say, those voters are not the brightest bulbs to enter a voting booth
.
So as I mentioned way back in December 2005, Hank Johnson and McKinney finally had their day. And it ended in them both advancing to a runoff. This was a 3 person race between Johnson, McKinney and John Coyne. Who is John Coyne? Who cares, he’s the Democrat that got in the way! A carpetbagger from Alpharetta, Georgia . (Republicans never win the 4th and Democrats never win in Alpharetta!) He does not live in the 4th District and would have only moved there if he won. He does not know the district and the people in the district proved that over 90% of them don’t know him. He just took enough votes from Hank Johnson to spoil his possible outright defeat of McKinney. Have a look at the numbers.
98% of precincts reporting
Yes this fly in the ointment Coyne barley got over 5,000 votes, but that was just enough to mess things up for Johnson. And McKinney too! But I don’t think she was getting a single one of those votes.
McKinney, Johnson in Runoff

And Moonbat Supreme Cindy Sheehan was at McKinney’s campaign party. I wonder how Sheehan was flown in? Because McKinney has been caught violating campaign rules in the past when it comes to the money used to fly people in.
So now we have to hope that on August 8th during the runoff, that the people who voted for John (obstruction of McKinney’s defeat) Coyne wise up and vote for Johnson. Of course it will be nice if some of McKinney’s voters decide to vote for Johnson, but they in my opinion are a sad and hopeless lot. You could find McKinney with a crack pipe, beating a cop, while pulling $100,000 in bribe money out of her freezer and they’d still vote for her.
Only people who voted in the primary can participate in the runoff. I’m thinking not all of McKinney’s voters are going to show up. So Johnson just needs to tell Coyne to do the right thing and endorse him, plus campaign hard to get his voters out again and he should win.

So Johnson can rally for support among people registered to vote who did not vote in the primary, in addition to those who voted in the Democratic primary. If he works at it hard enough I think he’ll win.
