Every now and then, someone must admit publicly that Islam is not like the rest of the religions of the world. Not just in terms of the form of worship, but the fact Islam seems to harbor radicals like no other modern faith known to man. Let’s be honest here, most every large “Muslim nation” that is able to conduct affairs with little Western influence engages in forms of violence that they see as normal, but we see as barbaric. Often people claim “well that behavior is not Islam and not in the Quran or an incorrect view of what is in the Quran”. Well going to church on Sundays is not in the Bible, but I’d be lying if I said it was not Christian in today’s times to do so. Because what is modern day Christianity is what is being practiced by the followers and it is the same with Islam. Islam is OK with things like wife beatings, honor killings, female circumcision, mudering converts to Christianity and the total destruction of Israel. (Not to mention celebrating 9/11.) I say Islam is OK with it, because around the world that is the view the vast majority of Muslims proudly express. So yes, more Muslims than we want to admit are engaged in some forms of sick behavior and they cite passages in the Quran for justification. Muhammad had no problem with slavery, owned and auctioned a slave and even today Muslims practice a form of slavery, that is nothing like the debt slavery mentioned in the Bible by Paul. It’s also sicker than the form of slavery once practiced in America. I cannot think of any other cult religion on the face of the earth where masses of people who control entire nations are engaging in the sick activity, taking place in the name of “Islam”. The only Islamic nations that ever change are those influenced by the West. Which has a strong Christian influence.

Today Laura Ingraham had to say it straight for a moment, although she tries to be as cordial to Islam as any non-Islamic woman probably can be. She first covered the article below about honor killings in Turkey. (An ally in the war on terror.)

While Laura was going on about how the things going on in Islam are horrible, a Westernized Muslim called in. He sounded American, but for the sake of this post I say Westernized Muslim, because I’ve found that only Muslims with a Western mindset have a view of Islam that is not so radical. I feel these types are less “orthodox” than their Muslim brothers overseas and that’s a good thing. But this Westernized Muslim attempted to obfuscate the violence in Islam as a matter of “culture” and tried to claim there are similarities in other faiths like Christianity. That is when Laura has to dispel this myth that the violence in Islam is somehow like Christianity and actions in non-Muslim countries. Laura really said it well.
