Think about it if the "evil Republicans" are seeking to steal the vote way from the poor people (and it is a shame how quickly they accept this label for Blacks - or lump us into the pot with the poor) then isn't it more logical to take the POWER away from the "racist Republicans" by setting up a massive campaign to get people their photo ids and thus take way this issue from the GOP? One must ask fundamentally - is it oppressive for people to have a photo id - absent any question of voting? I have to give it to the opponents though. That was a masterful stroke to claim that the requirement for a photo id was like a POLL TAX. I would not have thought of that one. AND IT WORKED!!!
