Well let’s just invite Bin Laden over next!

This is the kind of foolishness you would not even expect from a novice in the art of war. Does somebody in the US Military feel this is going to “scare” China into backing down? Those idiots (US officials that approved China watching) have only given the enemy more knowledge and understanding of our military tactics. It won’t cause China to back down over Taiwan. It will only help China prepare for any battle with US forces. Some military officials (like Peter Rodman, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs) think it may cause China to slow down some of their efforts to build up their military, but I don’t think this is going to work out to our advantage at all.

I heard about this on Michael Savage’s show and was immediately thinking “get the heck outta here, the US would never invite China over to watch our military and learn our tactics”. But then I checked it out online and sure enough I found the Washington Post article. Which happened to be the exact same article he read from on the air.

My jaw is on the floor. I just can’t believe we would invite China to watch our military. This is just so dumb.

I’m sure China is pleased. Knowing how the better defeat your enemy is always a plus. And for China, “China-US military ties” consists of them defeating our military at the moment of their choosing. Nixon going to China was one thing, but this is just pathetic!
