Claims Americans don’t want to define marriage are again proven wrong. Alabama has joined an ever growing list of states, that have amended their constitutions to ensure marriage is defined as it has always been in America. As the union of one man and one woman. As I’ve explained previously, even before the pro-gay movement, the federal government kept Utah from joining the United States because of polygamists. Until the state and the LDS church turned its back on such activity. America has always only accepted marriage as being the union of one man and one woman.
The vote in Alabama was not even close!
State Amendment Define Marriage (3,239 of 3,240 Precincts Reporting)

Interesting how the MSM has focused totally on the vote in the US Senate. I mentioned before that it would not get the number needed, although there were feelings that it might get a few more votes than it did in the final tally. Just the same it’s good they voted on it again. They also need to be voting regularly on an abortion ban, which we also know is making strides at the state level. The US Senate has proven they won’t defend our borders and won’t protect decent standards.

In my view the people who are most concerned with this are the people who will have to deal with the societal consequences of a further erosion of our culture.
Today in many segments of the society marriage has lost it’s function. The people who are impacted by this have been conditioned to redirect their notions of responsibility upon some other factor.
To be honest with you Gay Marriage is but a factor in the real problem – The weakening of Heterosexual marriage. Folks wouldnt dare bring up the notion of two men getting married when there is a strong sense of purpose for normal marriage.
If a real fix is in order it must start with the heterosexuals.

Ron, I think your right. But I think more importantly
it really isn’t about heterosexual v homosexual, it’s more about
getting our lives in line with God’s direction, a life of living in His
holiness. Our culture is moving away from God’s word and is centering
around what we adults want at the cost of our children’s lives.
Until that stops, the nonsense will continue and wil be bought into.
