John Stossel has been blowing people away with his reports, that debunk some common myths. I really enjoyed his first book Give Me a Break : How I Exposed Hucksters, Cheats, and Scam Artists and Became the Scourge of the Liberal Media. With the exception of that chapter where he tries to advocate doctors killing people. Doctors killing, what an oxymoron.

Well now Mr. Stossel has released a new book Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity : Get Out the Shovel–Why Everything You Know is Wrong. I have not read it myself, but if it’s half as good as his previous book, then this one is also a winner.

He has been doing the rounds on various radio shows, to discuss the book and the efforts of those who dislike hearing the truth. He also speaks about his Stupid in America report. Below is audio from his 5/19/2006 appearance on the Michael Medved Show and his appearance yesterday on the Sean Hannity Show. Michael Medved had Mr. Stossel take a number of calls. And if you’ve ever listened to Mr. Medved’s show, you know it’s like one Conservative against a host of moonbats . And Medved really enjoys it that way. It got to the point that Stossel had to question Medved’s kindness towards them, because their loony questions and assertions were clearly ticking Stossel off. Of course there were also some sane callers who were not as bad.
