Anybody that would use National Guard troops to check his own empty home, while people are in need of rescue after Hurricane Katrina is bound to do anything.

And now Louisiana US Congressman William Jefferson has been caught with bribe money in containers in his freezer. Money he received from an FBI informant. This guy is totally busted. While he was in public claiming to stand up for those affected by the hurricane, he was doing dirty deeds when he thought nobody was looking. He denies it all. Today Neal Boortz discussed this matter. He mentioned that some Congressmen are upset Jefferson’s congressional office was searched, including some Republicans such as Congressman Dennis Hastert. Claims are being made that the search is a “separation of powers” violation. That’s total bull! I think their crying is a sign that more Congressional offices need a good search performed on them. We ordinary citizens could have our homes and/or offices searched at any time with a warrant. Corrupt congresspeople have no defense in their congressional offices for their misdeeds. So what if it has never happend before! Apparently it needs to happen more often.

Boortz mentioned that some race warlords may stand up in defense of Jefferson and cry “racism”. Of course it will be very funny if that happens.
