Conservative Alabama US Senator Jeff Sessions spoke with Laura Ingraham yesterday about the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006 - S. 2611. He fears this bill might pass the Senate. So now is your last chance to tell them to vote against it or you’ll remember when they come up for re-election.

The bill only has 6 co-sponsors. Some that people even consider to be Conservatives. Such as not really Conservative John McCain and others like Sam Brownback and Lindsey Graham. Remember these names, once they want to run for re-election and/or higher office they are hoping you’ll forget this.

Estimates from Senator Sessions’ office found that the bill would allow 73-93 million in the next 20 years. 4-5 times the current rate. That finding is supported by work done by Robert E. Rector of the Heritage Foundation. Studies are showing this bill would allow an insane number of new immigrants and more than could be reasonably accommodated for. Also, please don’t forget that this will only encorage more illegal immigration and plenty of terrorists are crossing that border too!
