I’ve pointed out more than once that Michael Eric Dyson just another poverty pimping race hustler. Bill Cosby does not owe that Thug Life Tupac adoring media whore a moment of his time. Dyson only gained more of a name for himself by trying to counter the truth that Bill Cosby offers, with lame attacks on Mr. Cosby. The truth is solid no matter the mouth that speaks it. What Cosby is telling Black people regarding the fact they need to get off their butts and do for themselves is truth that is very much on point. Everybody knows Blacks today have more opportunity than any prior generation. So from a racial perspective, the failures of Blacks today are without excuse! Prior generations had less opportunity and kept families together better, had a lower percentage in prison, a lower percentage of out of wedlock births before people could kill their babies in the womb via abortion and a lower drop out “just because” rate. I say drop out “just because”, since many Black students that drop out of school in modern times leave simply because they feel like it, “just because”. Unlike Blacks in prior generations that might leave school because of a need to actually eat and care for family. Today kids are dropping out, not caring for any of their elders or siblings and many are not even taking care of the children they conceive out of wedlock. Anyone that attacks a messenger speaking against such changes over generations is insane. Bill Cosby has first hand historical knowledge that people like Dyson can’t touch. Maybe if it was a Tupac rap recital, Dyson might have a chance against Cosby.

Dyson is using his objections to Cosby just to sell books. Dyson doesn’t like the message but he can’t refute it so he goes after the messanger.
I admire Cosby for telling the black community the same thing he tells his children…stay in school, embrace academic excellence, don’t abandon your children.
I’m tired of self appointed “black leaders” like Jesse Jackson who tells his followers to keep their children in failing inner city public schools or to follow him in some inane protest march against this or that. I’m sure that’s not the advise he gave his kids who have grown up to be Congressmen and wealthy beer distributers.
I’m also sick and tired of these black elitists like Dyson who continually feed into the notion that we black people have little chance at success in America when they pull down fantastic incomes and live in luxurious homes. Tell us what you did Dyson, West, Sharpton and Jaskon to earn your wealth?
I grew up in a Brooklyn ghetto and I now live in a wonderful neighborhood in Georgia making large sums of cash and I get to go to work in my shorts and tee shirt. And I have a few friends from my old hood who have done just as well if not better. If white America is supposed to be holding me back they are doing a pretty piss poor job at it.
