Yesterday Shelby Steele, a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution, was on the Laura Ingraham Show. To discuss his new book White Guilt : How Blacks and Whites Together Destroyed the Promise of the Civil Rights Era. It was a very stimulating conversation. Laura played a clip of Arizona US Senator John McCain wanting to go soft on the border issue. Which is a classic sign of White guilt, given America takes in plenty of legal immigrants every year. Mr. Steele has once again spoken truth, that touches a nerve across America. He is the bridge over a racial fault line, that causes Conservatives to love him and Liberals to hate him.

They also discussed when Bill Cosby shut down Tavis Smiley and played the clip. Then just after that, Mr. Steele had to shut down a critical caller himself.
