Bill Frist Stands For Marriage. To Introduce Federal Constitutional Amendment (Audio)

by @ 12:28 am. Filed under Audio, The Truth Shall Set you Free!

One thing US Senator Bill Frist and I agree on, is that marriage is the union of one man and one woman. This is how it has always been in America and why Utah was continually denied statehood, until the Mormon church ended ties with sects engaging in polygamy. Warren Jeffs, the current leader of one of those polygamist sects, the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints (FLDS), is currently on the FBI’s Most Wanted List. So efforts to defend the institution of marriage are as old as our republic. Today it seems pro-gay organizations have been able to find Liberal judges, that threaten the longstanding view of what marriage is in America. This is not just a view held by Americans, but a structure established by God and explained by Jesus Christ.

Mark 10:6-9 (New King James Version)

6) But from the beginning of the creation, God ?made them male and female.?
7) ?For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
8) and the two shall become one flesh?; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9) Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.?

Senator Frist was on CNN’s Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer yesterday. He not only explained that he will introduce a Federal Marriage Amendment in June, but he also explained what he would say to the Cheney’s. Given it has been said that they are against such an amendment.

FRIST: Yeah, I basically say, Mr. Vice President, right now marriage is under attack in this country, and we’ve seen activist judges overturning state by state law, where state legislatures have passed laws defining marriage between a man and a woman and that’s it. And that is being overturned by a handful of activist judges around the country. And that is why we need an amendment to come to the floor of the United States Senate to define marriage as that union between one man and one woman.

Over 80% of Alabama Votes to Define Marriage as One Man + One Woman.

Claims Americans don’t want to define marriage are again proven wrong. Alabama has joined an ever growing list of states, that have amended their constitutions to ensure marriage is defined as it has always been in America. As the union of one…
