I Guess Somebody Does Not Like Dekalb County’s Police Affirmative Action Program!

So far, no protest marches. No outcry from those who claim to stand for “civil rights”. Nothing.

Georgia Police Union: White Officers Were Kept From Promotions

DECATUR, Ga. ? A former DeKalb County Assistant Police Chief is coming under more criticism after being accused of delaying the promotions of white officers on the force.

Police union officials released an audio recording Thursday purportedly containing the voice of R.P. Flemister, who is black.

On the tape, Flemister is heard asking someone: “Have you ever thought about why I ain’t promoted them nine on the list right now … because seven of them are white.”

This latest recording is another black eye for the troubled police department.

DeKalb County Police Chief Louis Graham resigned last week after a fired officer released another audio recording of a profanity-laced conversation between Graham and Flemister. Flemister later announced his retirement.

Meanwhile, county commissioner Elaine Boyer held a news conference Thursday to criticize her fellow commissioners for issuing a weak statement about turmoil at the police department.

“When a white employee or a black employee places color first it is absolutely wrong,” Boyer said. “Others who are elected to lead our county must speak out to stop this. They have a moral obligation to.”

Anybody want to guess why Elaine Boyer is the only one speaking up?

Dekalb County, Georgia is mostly Cynthia McKinney’s US House Congressional District. (Georgia’s 4th Congressional District.) Given this is the home of such a “freedom fighter”, who “stands against racism”, “stands against discrimination” and “stands against racial profiling”. You would think people in her district would never discriminate against anyone :) . OK, I’m being sarcastic. In reality, the actions of lower level officials in Dekalb County are simply a reflection of the higher level representatives, elected by a majority of voters in that county. Oh but let a Black person cry racism and they will ensure there are lights and cameras on the scene! Protest marches and candlelight vigils, demanding everyone resign and be charged with Civil Rights violations. When a White is the victim, silence! And that’s the facts!

To be fair, I will say there are times when people come along to try and improve the mess in Dekalb County, but sometimes they don’t survive to take office if they are elected.

Joseph Lowery, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and others. Where are you? Will you mention this the next time you’re trying to rattle off instances that you say show racism is alive and well in America? John Conyers, will you ask for a law against this type of discrimination? Hey, these people tell me they want “civil rights for everybody”. Let’s see what they do!

La Shawn Barber found this gem of a piece, that mentions some of the nonsense spawn from the minds of people who claim to “speak truth to power”. And hey Mike Adams, I went to a “Black college”, so you can imagine what I heard. I could write you a top 100 list!

    Racial Discrimination by Georgia Police

As The Independent Conservative points out, this is an area where you would expect people to have a heightened awareness of and lower tolerance for such inequality.

Oh Look, Dekalb County Has a Fire Department Affirmative Action Program Too!

Just take what you recall me mentioning about the police department and see how it is also taking place in the county’s fire department. Here is a video report. (Text report with less details.) In the video report, the term “reverse dis…
