I often mention the drunken Senator from Massachusetts Ted (I lost her in the lake) Kennedy, because I feel the man belongs in prison. Now it seems one of his sons has the same drinking issues that his father has. Michelle Malkin has all the details, so no need for me to repeat them all here.

I just think that it’s terrible. Ted Kennedy knowing he has a drinking problem was not able to stop his son from becoming almost a mirror image of himself. We all strive for our children to do better than us in our areas of failure. Sadly that never seems to happen for the Kennedy’s. No I don’t like their Liberal politics, but seeing the issues within this family is just sad. It’s nothing I want to express any kind of “glee” over.

Like Ted Kennedy, his son Democratic Rhode Island US House Representative Patrick Kennedy should have been charged for being intoxicated and was not. In Ted’s case, he avoided the the cops till he sobered up. And given the dead body in the lake he should have been charged with more than just a DUI. Patrick Kennedy’s accident did not result in any being killed, thankfully. But it shows the Kennedy’s still get off easy and they still have some issues to overcome.

The Capitol Police still have time to handle this case as it should be handled. Although they never did any tests, Patrick Kennedy claims he was taking some pills that caused him to go out and drive to what he claims was a congressional vote. Which means he has already admitted publicly to driving under the influence. This means he should be charged. I feel he was straight drunk and there is evidence he was drinking, although he claims he did not drink at all. So Patrick Kennedy is a liar like his father before him and they both should be cell mates!
